Stars & Stripes II Intro & Location

Four players join together in a tournament, facing off in a bracket to win trophies and cash prizes.

Held at the Picklr on June 14th, 2025, a new indoor pickleball venue in Aurora, CO.

Brackets

The Stars & Stripes II event will be a team tournament and consist of four brackets and follows the Picklr's breakdown of skill ranges: Beginner (2.0-3.24), Intermediate (3.25-4.24), Women's Advanced (4.25-5.0+), and Men's Advanced (4.25-5.0+). Bracket formats will either be Double Elimination or Round Robin depending on the number of teams. Each team will compete to win medals and cash prizes. See below for a breakdown of each bracket:

Beginner (2.0-3.24, no gender restrictions) | Four beginner level and/or first time tournament players (men, women, or a mix)

Check in will begin at 7:00 am on Saturday, June 14th and matches will start at 8:00 am.

Each member of the winning team of this bracket will be awarded $60! Trophies will be provided to the Gold, Silver, and Bronze finalists.

Intermediate (3.25-4.25, no gender restrictions) - Four intermediate players (men, women, or a mix)

Check in will begin at 7:00 am on Saturday, June 14th and matches will start at 8:00 am.

Each member of the winning team of this bracket will be awarded $100! Trophies will be provided to the Gold, Silver, and Bronze finalists.

Women's Advanced (4.25-5.0+) - Four advanced female players

Check in will begin at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 14th and matches will start at 12:00 pm.

Each member of the winning team of this bracket will be awarded $125! Trophies will be provided to the Gold, Silver, and Bronze finalists.

Men's Advanced (4.25-5.0+) - Four advanced male players

Check in will begin at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 14th and matches will start at 12:00 pm.

Each member of the winning team of this bracket will be awarded $150! Trophies will be provided to the Gold, Silver, and Bronze finalists.

*Each bracket will take 4-5 hours to complete from the first round through the Gold Medal Match. Each team needs to be prepared for that timeline in the event they make it to the medal matches.

*This is not a DUPR event. If you don't know or have a 2.0-5.0+ DUPR score, you are allowed to self evaluate which bracket you and your team should compete in

*Sandbagging is not allowed at our events. If there are skill level complaints and your team is found through DUPR or by other means to be competing with players at a more advanced skill level you will face disqualification with no refund!

Matches during the bracket stage will be a best 3/5 games with rally scoring to 15, win by 2. Medal matches will switch to first to 21, win by 2.

Each team of four players has two groups: Group A and Group B. In Game 1, each team's Group A play each other. In Game 2, both team’s Group Bs play. In the 3rd and 4th games of the match, Group As play Group Bs. If both teams are tied 2-2 in games won by the end of Game 4, then a Singles Showdown will take place to determine the winning team who will move forward in the bracket.

Registration & Payment

The registration fee for each team member is $60, or $240 per team. Members of the Picklr will have a discounted $50 registration fee.

Along with gameplay, included in the registration fee is a Stars & Stripes II athletic T-shirt, a swag bag, and entry into the raffle which will have all sorts of giveaways hundreds of dollars in value!

*Your team's registration is not valid and will not hold your spot in the tournament until full payments have been made.

Each team member needs to fill out their own registration form, but you are allowed to pool your funds together and have one teammate submit it for the full team.

If your given bracket fills up, you will be put on a waitlist in the order at which your team's registration was received. Waitlist deposits are $60 and will be refunded in full if your team does not enter the tournament.

Refunds will be given in full if a player or team needs to withdraw on or before Monday, June 9th. After that, all registration fees become locked in.

Refunds will be given to players and teams on bracket waitlists that are not able to enter the tournament.

Men's Advanced Gold Medalists - $600 for the team, $200/player

Women's Advanced Gold Medalists - $500 for the team, $125/player

Intermediate Gold Medalists - $400 for the team, $75/player

Beginner Gold Medalists - $240 for the team, $75/player

This event will be hosted at the Picklr, a new indoor Pickleball facility in Aurora, CO. There will be no weather delays or cancelations.

All participants must 1) sign a liability waiver prior to playing and 2) provide emergency contact information.
