Tournament Description

What better way to kick off the new year than by showcasing your skills in the Winter Showdown?! ERA Pickleball is proud to start the year with this exciting and competitive tournament!

We will be offering one of the largest payouts around for all our open brackets! So, if you're looking for singles or doubles, there will be an event for you to get paid! Some brackets will have a $1,000 minimum payout, so ensure you get your spot.

Our tournament event schedule is below:

Friday - Senior Men's Doubles / Senior Women's Doubles

Friday - Men's Singles / Women's Singles

Saturday - Men's Doubles / Women's Doubles (includes beginner brackets)

Sunday - Mixed Doubles / Senior Mixed Doubles (includes beginner brackets)

If you participate in a "senior" event on Friday, you may also play in regular doubles on Saturday.

Additional Information

FOOD AND DRINK

We will have snacks, drinks, and smoothies for players provided by our on-site smoothie shop. Registrants will receive a complimentary smoothie per event they're signed up for.

FORMAT

Teams will play a minimum of 3 matches. The format will be as follows:

- Pool-Play to Single Elimination

- Gold medal match will be best of 3

TIMING

Play may begin as early as 7:00 a.m. We will send out a tentative schedule 1-2 weeks before and then confirm the schedule when registration closes. We do this to ensure our tournaments run smoothly and are never delayed.

RATINGS

This tournament will use DUPR to ensure everyone is in the correct event. The tournament director reserves the right to review all players and move anyone if it's deemed that a player is in the wrong event. This tournament is for players under a 6.00 rating.

TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS

For those making a run at our Champion's Series and trying to gain eligibility to our Tournament of Champions, this tournament will also award points for the top 5 teams. To follow your ranking head over to erapickleball.com/ranks. This tournament will award more points than our standard Champion's Play, the top prize being 500 points.

Refund Policy

You must cancel before 01/12/24 (you will still incur the processing fee). There will be no refunds after 01/12/24.
