<p class="demoTitle">Welcome to the <strong>Midwest Junior Open by Junior Pickleball Network</strong>!</p>
<p>We’re thrilled to have talented players for exciting competition, skill-building, and, most importantly, fun! Whether you’re new to the game or an experienced player, this tournament is the perfect opportunity to showcase your talent, learn from others, and make lasting memories. </p>
<p>A huge thank you to all the parents, coaches, and volunteers who are making this event possible. Your dedication to the sport and to our young athletes is truly inspiring. This region hosted one of the first dedicated junior tournaments in the nation. Now we are looking forward to bringing in talent beyond the region!</p>
<p><strong>Format</strong> - The age brackets will be round robin, matches to 15, win by 2. A single elimination playoff will follow. Larger brackets may be divided in to pools with the top three from each pool advancing to the playoffs. Medal rounds (not pre-medal) are 2 out of 3 to 11, win by 2.</p>

<li>Brackets will be divided by age (18U = 18 and under, 16U, 14U, and 12U). </li>
<li>Brackets may be combined depending on the needs of the tournament. (For instance, some brackets could be combined and become "Co-ed"</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Show off your school or club!</strong> Schools or clubs represented in this event will be announced and highlighted. </p>
<p>This tournament follows <a href="https://usapickleball.org/what-is-pickleball/official-rules/">USA Pickleball rules</a>. Players are required to verify that their paddle is approved by USA Pickleball. Referees will be on duty and will be assigned to various matches.</p>
<p>The tournament director reserves the right to merge brackets to fit the needs of the tournament.</p>
