🏆 Golden Ring National Championship — Tournament Overview
Welcome to the 2026 Golden Ring National Championship at Peak Pickleball in Colorado Springs — the premier indoor pickleball facility in the region featuring 24 dedicated courts, championship lighting, and climate-controlled play. All events are hosted indoors, ensuring ideal playing conditions regardless of weather.
This championship features Singles, Doubles, and Mixed Doubles across two age groups and skill-based amateur divisions, along with Open payout divisions for top competitors. All amateur and age/skill divisions play for medals, and eligible divisions may include prize payouts based on full bracket entry.
🎯 Competition Format
All brackets use the following standardized format:
Round Robin Pool Play
• 1 game to 15
• Win by 2
• Top 4 advance to medal playoffs
• Max 12 players/teams per division
Medal Rounds
• Best 2 of 3 games to 11 (win by 2)
• 3rd game to 15 if necessary
• Bronze medal match may be 1 game to 15 win by 2 depending on time & bracket size
Tournament desk reserves the right to combine or adjust divisions to ensure competitive play while maintaining age/skill integrity.
🔢 Skill Division Definitions
DUPR ratings are used for all amateur skill classifications.
Because PT.com sets divisions in 0.5 rating increments (ex: 3.0–3.5, 3.5–4.0), our event titles reflect the following intended ranges:
• 2.99 & Below Division = DUPR under 3.00
• 3.0 Division = DUPR 3.00–3.49
• 3.5 Division = DUPR 3.50–3.99
• 4.0 Division = DUPR 4.00–4.49
• 4.5+ Division = DUPR 4.50 and above (non-Open)
• Open Divisions = highest competitive level; not age or skill restricted
PT.com will display bracket ranges in .5 increments (ex: 3.0–3.5), but the decimal cutoffs above represent the actual eligibility intent for division placement.
Players are expected to register for the division that corresponds to their DUPR at the time of registration. Tournament director reserves the right to reassign players if needed.
💰 Prize Money & Eligibility
The Golden Ring Championship offers prize payouts for Open divisions and qualifying amateur divisions.
• Minimum 9 players/teams required for payout eligibility
• Divisions not meeting minimum entries may still be played but are not guaranteed payouts
• Combined divisions do not count toward payout minimums
• Final payout tables announced after registration closes
Medals will be awarded in all divisions regardless of payout eligibility.
