Grand Canyon State Games Pickleball Tournament

Registration is $90 per player for the first event, including the $10 referee fee. Additional events are $15 each. Beginning January 18, 2027, a $15 late fee applies, bringing first-event registration to $105. The payment form adds a 4% processing fee.
Registration closes January 25, 2027, at 5 p.m. Arizona time.
Join us at Pecos Park for three days of pickleball competition, community, and connection. Hosted by the Arizona Sports & Entertainment Commission, this USA Pickleball sanctioned tournament features men’s and women’s singles, men’s and women’s doubles, and mixed doubles for players ages 19 and older.
Whether you are competing in one event or taking the court all weekend, the Grand Canyon State Games offers an opportunity to challenge yourself, meet other players, and participate in a statewide sports tradition. Players may enter up to three events.
Divisions and Scoring
Skill divisions are based on DUPR ratings:
3.0–3.5 Open
3.5–4.0
4.0+
Age divisions will be determined by registration numbers.
Matches will use traditional side-out scoring, with only the serving player or team earning points. Matches are played best two out of three games to 11 points, win by two. If weather causes delays, matches will switch to one game to 15 points.
An active USA Pickleball Challenger or Champion membership is required through February 7, 2027. Doubles partners must register and pay separately and list one another.
Check-In and Schedules
Check-in begins 90 minutes before the first matches each day, at the front of the event before entering the courts. Daily start times will depend on registration numbers and will be announced after registration closes. Tournament brackets and game day schedules will be provided through Swish Tournaments.
