This is a PRIVATE CLUB TOURNAMENT for Hollyburn Members and their invited guests.

The Hollyburn Country Club Spring Charity (ALS) Invitational is our first pickleball tournament where a member can invite a guest partner to play with them. Here is a summary of some of the highlights:

1. Held on our 4 dedicated outdoor pickleball courts and 6 lined pickleball courts on tennis 13 and 14. In the event of rain, we have the gym and turf reserved indoors at certain times. If inside expect some consolidation of events and services

2. This is a charity tournament to the benefit of the ALS Society of BC. All surplus funds will go to that Society, plus we will have pledge sheets for those players, guests and others who may want to pledge more

3. This is our first pickleball “invitational” tournament. Each Hollyburn member player can invite a guest (non-member) to play in any of the Events with them. Of course guests are all welcome to watch and bleachers will be available if you don’t bring your own foldable chair

4. Multiple gender and skill-based categories, and a Senior’s event (only one event per player in the Super Seniors Event)

5. Other plans are in the works which may include but are not limited to an antique car exhibition, art silent auction and a Pro Demo Match – but the focus is on fun and playing pickleball!

Payments will not be made through Pickleball Brackets - all fees (including guest fees plus GST) will be charged to member accounts when registration closes on May 18th.

Final details including but not limited to Event scheduling, tournament draws, concise Player Instructions and Sportsmanship Guidelines and other info will be published in advance of the tournament.

Registration fees of $65 CAD per player and Event fees of $15 CAD per Event entered plus GST will be paid directly on Hollyburn accounts by its members and for their guests (member responsible for reimbursement). At "Checkout", choose "Pay on Site". Registration on Brackets authorizes Hollyburn to collect such fees.

You do not pay the Reg Fee and Event Fees on Brackets, chose the "PAY ON SITE" option if you do go through the Brackets payment screens!! Bar and any paid-for catering will also be through member invoicing.

Max 175 registrants so pre-register if you want to assure a berth in our Tourney!

In the event of rain we will be inside. If so, expect changes to the schedule and Events themselves, but hope for sun!!
