All players playing minimum one event in the "Utopos Pickleball Tourney" will receive $50 USD value worth of UTOP crypto coin and additionally Gold, Silver, Bronze winners at all levels (3.0 to 5.0+) will receive UTOP crypto currency valued at $180,000 USD for the tourney. Every players need to have digital wallet to receive UTOP Crypto coin, please refer the additional information section on how to setup a wallet to receive the UTOP coin for participation.

Registration cost for this tournament is $75.

Each amateur event is $30.

Each Pro/open-level event is $35.

Start times will not be announced until registration closes! This is because the number of signups for each event will determine when we can start each bracket. We need to know the final number of entrants for each event in order to determine the most efficient start times to keep the day running as smoothly as possible. Start times will be released 1 or 2 days after registration closes and may be subject to change due to any unforeseen circumstances. We will help publish the tournament results to DUPR.

Brackets may be combined if not enough teams are signed up in a given event. Age groups within the same skill level would be combined first. If necessary, Skill levels may be combined.

If a bracket has 3 teams or less, this bracket will most likely be combined with another bracket. If a bracket has 4 or 5 teams, it will be round robin format. If a bracket has 6 or more teams, it will be regular double elimination format.

Double elimination brackets are best 2 out of three games to 11 in the winners bracket and one game to 15 in the consolation bracket. Teams in the consolation bracket still have the opportunity to make it to the gold medal match if they advance all the way through the consolation bracket.

Format may be abbreviated if necessary due to weather or any other unforeseen circumstance but the tournament directors will do the best they can to get all matches played and keep the regular format.

The tournament accommodates various skill levels (ranging from 3.0 to 5.0+) and age brackets (9+, 35+ 50+).

We staff and plan the event based on the number of registrations. For any unforeseen circumstances if the tournament had to be cancelled or re-scheduled players would be fully refunded the registration cost minus the service fee charged by Stripe & pickleball brackets.

Pickleball bracket fees and Stripe fees are non-refundable for all withdrawals.

Any player who withdraws before the deadline of July 8th, 2024, will be charged a $20.00 withdrawal fee.

50% refunds offered between July 9th until July 27th (1 week before tournament)

There will be no refunds for any withdrawals after July 27th, 2024.

However, Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners at all levels will receive UTOP cryptocurrency valued at $180,000 USD claiming the largest portions of the prize pool.

After you register you can reach out via email to receive your $50 USD valued UTOP crypto coins for registering in the event, if you withdraw from the tournament prior to the deadline you might need to re-send back $UTOP received and refund policy details will be followed.

In the event of inclement weather, we will do our best to play the matches while prioritizing the safety of the players. If we have to cancel the event due to weather, we will seek to reschedule the tournament, if we cannot players will be entitled to a 70% refund of fees paid towards the tournament.

While we are fortunate not to be bound by specific COVID-19 restrictions, the health and safety of all participants remain our top priority at the Utopos Pickleball Tournament. Our commitment to a secure environment extends beyond pandemic concerns, ensuring a comprehensive approach to well-being. Rigorous cleanliness protocols will be maintained, including regular sanitization of courts and equipment. First aid stations will be readily available, and a designated medical team will be on standby throughout the tournament. Participants are encouraged to stay hydrated, and conveniently placed water stations will be accessible. We also emphasize personal responsibility, urging everyone to be mindful of their health and that of others, and to report any concerns promptly. By fostering a culture of safety and well-being, we aim to provide an enjoyable and worry-free tournament experience for all involved.
