The 2025 Pickleball Kelowna Club Fall Frenzy Tournament celebrates the wrap up of PKC's 2025 season, so let's get together and play pickleball!
This tourney is a keep-your-partner ROUND ROBIN format.
EVENT DAYS
*NEW* Friday September 19 starts at 4:15 - Jr Coed Doubles (skill and/or age splits to be determined after registration)
Saturday September 20: Mens Doubles; Womens Doubles
Sunday September 21: Mixed Doubles
Players will start at one of two start times - early morning or early afternoon and brackets are expected to take 3-4 hours to complete barring any delays.
RATINGS
Pickleball Canada Registration Requirement:
All registrants must be members in good standing through September 21, 2025 to play in this tournament.
This will be a SANCTIONED event, and results will affect your Canadian Tournament Pickleball Rating (CTPR) AND your DUPR rating. Your CTPR rating will be used to determine qualification for events. If you feel your CTPR is 'too low' you may play up 1.0 level. (ie 3.5 may register into 3.5, 4.0 or 4.5) and the brackets you are eligible for will display during your registration.

SKILL
Register into your SKILL level... Junior (U16), Men's, Women's and Mixed skill brackets: 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5 & Above
AGE SPLITS
Will be determined AFTER registration completes, based on actual ages of participants for brackets with 10 or more teams.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT
Every team will play at least 4 games and the majority of the teams will play at least 5 games.
Round Robin in single pools - 1 game to 11, win by 2, no cap
- Bronze Medal Game - 3rd vs 4th from RR - 1 game to 15, win by 2, no cap
- Gold Medal Game - 1st vs 2nd from RR, 1 game to 15, win by 2, no cap
Double Pool: Top 2 teams in each pool advance to a pre-medal round, with the resulting first and second place teams advancing to the Gold Medal Game, and the third and fourth place advancing to the Bronze Medal Game.
Format subject to change based on actual registrations.
Medal games will be referreed, and most of the other games will be refereed.
Players registration is considered complete once both partners have registered and paid. Players have 3 days to complete both registrations. Incomplete registrations may be moved to a waitlist. Once complete, waitlisted players may be moved back into the bracket only if room is available.
FIRST AID
A First Aid Medic will be onsite for Saturday and Sunday.
