Welcome to Life Times's May Moneyball Tournament!
This is a non-sanctioned outdoor tournament in Men's Doubles. There will be one 4.0-4.5 bracket in this Men's Moneyball event. This Moneyball Tournament is a FIXED-PARTNER ROUND ROBIN style event geared to reward top place finishers with cash and other prizes. DUPR ratings will be used to verify bracket eligibility & SCORES WILL BE ENTERED INTO DUPR. All participants must have a DUPR account - if you do not have an account by a week before the event, a tournament manager will be reaching out to have you set one up.
In order to facilitate fair play in all divisions, we will be looking at all players' DUPR ratings. As there is money on the line, DUPR ratings will be verified, and those who are registered for brackets below their DUPR rating may be asked to withdraw. Both players DUPR ratings must be below the maximum rating for the event.
Early registration is $50 per player.
Minimum of 12 teams per bracket in order to win full cash cash prize. If less than 12 teams, prize pool will be equal to half of the entry fees.
Round Robin: Games to 11, win by 2, switch sides at 6 points. If a tie exists at the completion of the bracket, head to head matchups and then points won will be used to determine finish placement.
Playoffs: Top 2 teams of each pool, if split into separate pools at the end of pool play will move on to playoffs. If only 1 pool, then top four teams will move to playoffs. All playoff matches are best 2 out of 3, games to 11 win by 2. Winners in the semi-final move on to the gold medal match, losers of the semi-final will play for bronze. The medal matches are best 2 out of 3, games to 11 win by 2.
Timeouts: Games to 11 - 1 time out per team.
Matches may start as early as 8am, and may run as late as 9pm
