Metro Health Super Seniors 2024 at Pictona

Welcome to the MetroHealth Super Seniors Tournament at Pictona to be held May 3-5. This is our fourth year for this event. This tournament is part of the 2024 US Senior Pickleball (USSP) tournament circuit. The Super Seniors tournament will have competition for women’s doubles, men’s doubles, and mixed doubles. We will have 7 age divisions beginning with 50+ playing in 4 skill classifications: 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5+. We welcomed over 500 seniors to this event in 2023. You told us you like the venue and the round robin format with a playoff. We have 49 courts, a championship court, and a new Education Center. It’s one of the finest dedicated pickleball facilities in the country. We invite you to a fun tournament enjoying all the amenities of Pictona.

***$15000 in Prize Money*** ($5000 in Prize Money each day)

All Gold Medal winning teams will be entered in a drawing for $5000 each day. One team will be drawn at the end of the day, and MetroHealth will write a $2500 check to each team member!

* Drawing will take place after the LAST game each day.

Tournament Facts

Dates: May 3-5, 2024

Location: Pictona at Holly Hill, Florida

Divisions: Men, Women, and Mixed

Age categories: 50+, 55+, 60+, 65+, 70+, 75+, and 80+

Skill levels: 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5+

Format: Round robin with playoff in all brackets

Women play Friday May 3, Mixed Saturday May 4, and Men Sunday May 5

Tournament fee: $75 per person registration and $15 per event

Each player must register and pay registration and event fees.

USSP members receive a $10 discount.

Medals: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each category

Food and Beverage Policy

Bottle fillers and water fountains are located throughout the Pictona Campus. Water and sports drinks are the only beverages permitted to be brought into Pictona and players may bring fruit and energy bars into the facility. We request no other drinks or food be brought into Pictona. The Depot (our concession stand) and The Kitchen (our restaurant) provide an appealing selection of items at reasonable prices. The purchase of food and beverages is a vital part of supporting the costs to operate the not-for-profit Pictona.

Pet Policy

In accordance with the city of Holly Hill’s ordinance, no pets are allowed on the Pictona campus. We welcome the presence of service animals assisting people with disabilities. A service animal is an animal that is individually trained to do a specific disability-related job or task for a person with a disablility. Pets or other animals (whether or not they provide comfort or emotional support) are not allowed on-site.

We have 400 parking spaces surrounding the Pictona Campus and an additional 400 spaces within 100 yards.

Refund Policy

Withdraw from the tournament for any reason before April 26, 2024 and we’ll refund your money less a $25 service fee. Refunds will be processed at completion of tournament.

No refunds when cancelling after April 26, 2024.

Prior to April 26, 2024, players may seek to transfer the registration to another person. A $10 transfer fee must be paid to cover the non refundable software service fee from Pickleball Brackets.
