Welcome to Minnesota Pickleball
Everyone is welcome, come join the fun!
Minnesota Parks and Recreation as the official sanctioning entity for state level pickleball in Minnesota, with Minnesota Pickleball, and in a partnership with cities across the state, have brought state sanctioned pickleball to Minnesota. All state leagues and tournaments are governed by Minnesota Parks and Recreation, and are managed by Minnesota Pickleball. State leagues, tournaments, and other events are managed, priced, and structured in the same way in every community.
All sanctioned tournaments are meant to be inclusive and priced affordably. All sanctioned local tournaments are only $35 for the 2026 season. There are 30 state sanctioned divisions, with Men's, Women's, Mixed doubles, with 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, and open divisions in each event. All divisions and events are divided in 2 age divisions: 49 years or under, and over 50 years old. There are 12 different sanctioned tournaments in 2026 for players to chose from. Come play in one, or come play in them all!
The 2026 Minnesota sanctioned state tournament will be held in Maple Grove, August 27-30.
The local sanctioned tournament circuit is meant to be fair, fun, and friendly, but as an added bonus, top players in every divisions can secure a spot in the 2026 state tournament. There is no requirements to play in the state tournament, and no extra pressure to make it, but if you can place as one of the top teams, you can secure a spot in the state tournament. For Tier-1 tournaments, the top 4 teams, all 8 players, secure individual spots in the state tournament, and in Tier-2 tournaments, the top 3 teams, all six players secure individual spots in the state tournament. Not all qualified players must play with each other. They secure their spot as an individual and can bring in any partner they wish, or play with their qualified partner. Every tournament played in, regardless of outcome, can collect points towards being seeded at the state tournament at the end of the season.
