Get ready for an exciting weekend of pickleball at the Monterey Bay Racquet Club, nestled within the scenic grounds of the Hyatt Regency Monterey! Join us for a thrilling event packed with competitive play and camaraderie. And, all event fees are included - your registration is to play in 1, 2 or 3 events - you pick & choose! (Please make sure to withdraw from events if you can't play one day - non-withdrawals will become forfeits, which can severally lower your DUPR rating.)

Come join us for 3 days of pickleball in a round robin tournament, with a medal bracket to follow the round robin. In addition, this will be a Circuit stop for the USSP Nationals. You earn points towards the US Senior Pickleball Nationals with wins here! USSP members receive an extra $10 off registration. (See USSP for details on discounts.)

This year we will be playing the tournament at 2 locations - both at the Hyatt Regency Monterey, and the Monterey Tennis Center, near downtown. Location of your event will be determined when registration closes.

Registration is completed by DUPR skill level. WinBy2 Pickleball promises to keep age groups as tight as possible, with a minimum of 4 teams per age division. DUPR ratings will be updated before setting brackets, and teams moved up where required. No one will be lowered, unless requested by the players. Groups with less than 4 teams/players will be combined to create viable brackets at the discretion of the Tournament Director. Start times for brackets to be posted on September 8th, subject to change until the day before play.

The Monterey Bay Pickleball open will be a Round Robin, with the top 4 teams in each division advancing to a single elimination bracket. All doubles matches will be games to 15, except the Gold Medal matches, which will be a 2/3 to 11 format. All singles matches will be rally scoring games to 21, except the Gold Medal match, which will be 2/3 to 15 format.

3 teams/players: Double Round Robin, games to 15, WinBy2, top 2 compete for Gold, third place in RR wins Bronze

4 teams/players: Round Robin, games to 15, WinBy2, top 2 complete for Gold, others compete for Bronze

5-7 teams/players: Round Robin, games to 15, WinBy2, top 4 advance to medal round

8-9 teams/players: 2 pools, games to 15, WinBy2, all teams advance to the Single Elimination playoff bracket

10 or more teams will play pools, with the top 2 finishers in each pool advancing to the medal bracket. Above formats apply to pool groups.

Instead of refunds, players without partners will be teamed up with others within the same skill. We will keep age as tight as possible, so if you sign up for an event, plan to be there!

All sales made for the pickleball tournament organized by our company are final and non-refundable. Once registration is completed and payment is made, no refunds will be issued for any reason. This policy applies to all registrations, whether made online, by phone, or in person. By registering for the tournament, you agree to this policy and understand that no refunds will be given.

However, we understand that certain unforeseen circumstances might arise, and we will assess refund requests on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to deny any refund request at our discretion.
