The North Bay Pickleball Club is excited to invite you to the Algonquin Winter Blast Tournament being held Friday April 10 and Saturday April 11, 2026 at Algonquin High School.
Eligibility:
Only registered 2025 Spring/Summer, 2025 Algonquin Fall and 2026 Algonquin Winter North Bay Pickleball Club members are eligible to participate in these tournaments.
Divisions are based on skill level to ensure fair and competitive play. Players must register according to their current North Bay Pickleball Club rating.
Tournaments Coordinators reserve the right to combine or adjust divisions based on the registration numbers.
Mixed – Friday April 10, 2026 – 4pm to 10pm
Mixed 3.25 and Under
Mixed 3.5
Mixed Over 3.5
Women – Saturday April 10, 2026 – 8am to 2pm
Women 3.0
Women 3.25
Women 3.5 and over
Men – Saturday April 10, 2026 – 12pm to 6pm
Men 3.25 and under
Men 3.5
Men Over 3.5
Prior to the tournament, Coordinators will review player ratings to ensure proper placement. They reserve the right to move players to the appropriate division to maintain fair and competitive play.
Format:
Round-robin play, followed by a single-elimination playoff
Game format and number of games may vary by division based on total registrations.
Scoring:
- Round robin (1 game to 15)
- Playoff Quarter-Finals & Semi-Finals (1 game to 15, win by 1)
- Playoff Bronze matches (1 game to 15, win by 2)
- Playoff Gold matches (best 2 out of 3 games to 11, win by 2)
- Game results will be posted to DUPR
Please be aware that changes to the preliminary schedule may occur.
Players should be available to play anytime between time indicated above
Match times will depend on number of registrations.
More detailed schedule will be available by April 3rd at the latest.
Entry Fee: $45.00 per player, $15.00 for additional event
Please note that there is an extra $5 service charge per event (maximum of $10).
This service charge is not controlled by North Bay Pickleball Club and is non-refundable.
Registration is first come first served and there is a limit of 10 teams per event.
