The Atlantic Open - North American Pickleball Circuit is taking place at the Sobeys Atlantic Tennis Centre. The tournament is pending Tier 2 sanctioned approval from Pickleball Canada.
The event will feature the following categories:
Singles - Women’s
Singles - Men’s
Doubles - Women’s
Doubles - Men’s
Doubles - Mixed
Note: Age will not be considered.
Skill divisions with each category:
3.0 and below (skill requirement of 3.0, allowing players of a minimum skill of 2.0 in accordance with Pickleball Canada)
3.5
4.0
4.5.
The divisions are based on DUPR rating.
The schedule will be organized to allow participants the opportunity to compete in multiple events where possible.
Ex: Men’s & Women’s Singles on one day, and Men’s & Women’s Doubles on the other.
Medal matches will be officiated, while additional matches may also have referees assigned as available.
Courts are Indoor Hard Court.
