It's time for another Pace Pickleball Tournament - only THIS ONE IS SPECIAL. If your DUPR score is 3.49 or lower...step right onto the courts and challenge your fellow players. This tournament is designed for the newer player to pickleball, who would like a great 1st tournament experience OR to establish a DUPR rating. No rating, no problem. Come play.

Our tournament event schedule is below:

Saturday - Men's Doubles / Women's Doubles /Senior Women's Doubles / Senior Men's Doubles

Sunday - Mixed Doubles / Senior Mixed Doubles

To register, all players must have a www.pickleball.com profile and a DUPR account. The two accounts must also be linked.

Tournament play will start at 8:00 AM on both Saturday, 3/29 and Sunday, 3/30.

RATINGS

This tournament will use DUPR to ensure everyone is in the correct event. The tournament director reserves the right to review all players and move anyone if it's deemed that a player is in the wrong event.

All scores will be entered into DUPR.

3.0 brackets are players 3.0000 - 3.499999

2.5 brackets are players 2.5 to 2.999999

2.0 and below are players 2.0 and under

*If a players rating moves up to a higher rating AFTER they have registered, we will honor the rating of the player at the time of registration.**However, if the player moves ABOVE a 3.49999, they will not be allowed to play.

TIMING

Play may begin as early as 8:00 a.m. We will send out a tentative schedule 1 week before once registration closes. We do this to ensure our tournaments run smoothly and are never delayed.

FOOD AND DRINK

We will have snacks and drinks available for purchase at our on-site bar.

FORMAT :

ALL teams will play a minimum of 3 matches. The format will be as follows:

-8 team bracket will compete in 2 pools of 4 teams each, each pool will consist of a single round robin, 1 game to 15 win by 2. Top 2 teams from each pool will advance to the championship bracket. Championship bracket will determine Gold, Silver, Bronze.

-7 team bracket will play a single round robin, 1 game to 15 win by 2. The results at the end of the round robin will determine Gold, Silver, Bronze.

- 6 team bracket will play a single round robin, 1 game to 15 win by 2. The results at the end of the round robin will determine Gold, Silver, Bronze.

-5 team bracket will play a single round robin, 1 game to 15 win by 2. The results at the end of the round robin will determine Gold, Silver, Bronze.

-4 team bracket will play a single round robin, 1 game to 15 win by 2 to determine seeding for Championship Bracket. Championship bracket will determine Gold, Silver, Bronze.

- Brackets with less than 4 teams could be combined with another bracket. Tournament director has the right to change the format and/or bracket combination to ensure a quality experience for all players.

The Official Ball of the tournament is FRANKLIN X40.

Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

You must cancel before 3/1/25 to receive a refund (you will still incur a $15 processing fee). There will be no refunds after3/1/25.

Indoor venue. Will play rain, shine or snow. :)

There will be no Sports Injury specialists on-site. However, the following will be available to players:

First aid kits - YES

Ice for sprains - YES

Trained personnel on CPR and AED - YES

Hydration is vital during competition. Please come hydrated and make sure you drink water before, during and after the tournament.
