What is “Pictona Generations”? The tournament is a two-weekend doubles tournament held on May 31/June 1, 2025 and September 20-21, 2025. As Pictona always does, we’ll play round robins so everyone is guaranteed at least 4 matches. The Pictona Generations Tournament is actually two tournaments offering two exciting new formats that are not part of traditional pickleball tournaments.

Pictona Generations Tournament – Split Ages

On May 31st we will play gender doubles, split ages at skill levels 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5+. The split ages are 30/50, 40/60, and 50/70. For example: For the 30/50 split, one player is 30 or younger and the partner is 50 or older. Or in another category, one partner is 50 or under and the other partner is 70 or older. Brackets are for women and men playing separately. The skill level is determined by the player with the higher rating.

Sunday, June 1st, is mixed doubles, split ages matching up as above (30/50, 40/60, and 50/70) playing in 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5+ skill levels. Either partner can be at either of the two ages and the skill level is determined by the higher rated player.

The registration fee is $60 for each tournament and the event fee is $20 for each of the two events.

Early bird special for the split age tournament: Sign up by May 1, 2025, to save $20 reducing the registration fee to $40.

Each player in tournament needs to register and pay registration fee.

Tournament t-shirts are optional. Shirt cost is $15.

Registration closes on May 24, 2025 at 11:55 pm.

When using Players Needing Partners feature, players are responsible for contacting other players for finding partners.

When registering for the tournament players will need to have a DUPR account connected to their Pickleball Brackets/Pickleball Tournaments/Pickleball.com account.

For players registering without a DUPR rating, your self rating from your Pickleball/Pickleball Tournaments/Pickleball Brackets profile will be used to determine which skill level you will be eligible to register to play in.

If you do not have a value for Doubles, Mixed Doubles and Singles in your profile, you will need to edit your profile to add values for each of these categories before the registration software will allow you to register.

To edit your profile:

* Log into Pickleball.com/Pickleball Tournaments (uses same password as Pickleball Brackets)

* Your first name will appear in the upper right of the page

* Click on your name

* On the drop down menu, click on "My Profile"

* A new window will open, click on "Edit Profile"

* In your profile, locate the fields for Self Rating for Doubles, Mixed Doubles and Singles. Fill in the appropriate values.

* Click "Save" at the top of the screen.

Bottle fillers and water fountains are located throughout the Pictona Campus. Water and sports drinks are the only beverages permitted to be brought into Pictona and players may bring fruit and energy bars into the facility. We request no other drinks or food be brought into Pictona. The Depot (our concession stand) and The Kitchen (our restaurant) provide an appealing selection of items at reasonable prices. The purchase of food and beverages is a vital part of supporting the costs to operate the not-for-profit Pictona.

The City of Holly Hill does not allow dogs on the Pictona Campus.

We have 400 parking spaces surrounding the Pictona Campus and an additional 400 spaces across the street at Holly Hill City Hall. Parking is free.

Withdraw from the tournament for any reason before May 24, 2025 and we’ll refund your registration and event fee less a $25 service fee. Refunds will be processed at completion of tournament.

No refunds when cancelling after May 24, 2025

Prior to May 24, 2025, players may seek to transfer the registration to another person. A $5/event transfer fee must be paid to cover the non refundable software service fee from Pickleball Brackets.
