RTM DUPR Rating Sessions Start Your Road to the Minors

Start your Road to DCPT's MiLP Rosters with your first RTM DUPR Session! These sessions are a prerequisite to enter the RTM tournament series, which will provide a pathway for amateur players to qualify for one of D.C. Pickleball Team’s Minor League Pickleball (MiLP) DUPR 12-22 rosters. The top performing players in the RTM Series will have a chance to showcase their skills during the RTM Cup (Finals) at the end of the year through MLP format play. It will also allow players to build their DUPR profiles and gain valuable match play experience while being evaluated by the D.C. Pickleball Team coaching staff and front office.

You do NOT have to complete your DUPR sessions before signing up for the tournaments. As long as they are completed before the tournament start date you can register for the tournament at any time. SPOTS ARE LIMITED! Claim your tournament spot today!

What is DUPR?

DUPR is an innovative rating system that matches players based on their skills for fair, fun, and competitive games. Whether you're just starting or you're a seasoned pro, DUPR will help you find the right challenge. Players build their DUPR rating by entering DUPR sanctioned events and matches into their accounts.

Purpose:

The rating sessions are a way to meet new people and compete in a friendly, fast paced environment. Along with building your DUPR profile, these DUPR sessions are a prerequisite for our upcoming Road to Minors (RTM) Tournament Series that will be the first ever tournament series that gives players a chance to qualify for the D.C. Pickleball Team Minor League Pickleball Rosters at DUPR 12, 14, 16, 18, 20 and 22 levels.

Format:

Sessions are broken out by the following DUPR levels:

Level 1: Grand Prix 3.0-3.4

Level 2: Challenger 3.5-3.9

Level 3: Tournament Training 4.0-4.4

Level 4: Premier 4.5+

Each DUPR Rating Level is posted as a separate tournament (e.g. Road to Minors (RTM) DUPR: 3.0-3.4, Road to Minors (RTM) DUPR: 3.5-3.9, etc). Each tournament lists the available DUPR Rating sessions for one month's time.

Each DUPR Rating Session is round-robin format where players will be playing with randomized partners throughout the session (approx. 2 hours). No partners required.

RTM DUPR Session Requirements

1) All players must have an active DUPR account

2) All players must be a DUPR member of Down the Line and DC Pickleball Team

3) All players must participate in a minimum of two (2) RTM DUPR sessions held at DTL before you can register for any of the RTM Tournament dates other than the first Tournament date where only one (1) RTM DUPR session will be required

There is a No Refund policy for all DUPR rating sessions and RTM tournaments 7 days before the day of the event. If you cancel and someone on the waitlist is able to fill your spot DTL may issue you a refund as long as the cancellation is made 48 hours prior to the day of the event. Service fees are not refunded.
