We’re excited to welcome players to the 2nd Annual Emerald Open — Power Pickleball Club’s largest and most competitive tournament to date! Compete in a premier indoor facility featuring:

OPEN DIVISIONS — Prize Money Events

Format: Double Elimination

• Best of 3 games

• Games to 11, win by 2

AMATEUR / SKILL DIVISIONS (3.0–5.0)

Format: Round Robin with playoffs

• Gold / Silver / Bronze brackets

• Age splits will be determined after registration closes

• Prize money for 4.5–5.0 divisions

📊 Ratings & Reporting

• All matches reported to DUPR

• Players must register in their appropriate skill level

👥 Age Splits & Brackets

Age divisions will be created after registration closes to ensure the most balanced and competitive brackets possible.

The Tournament Director reserves the right to combine or expand brackets as needed to maintain quality play. Registration may close at any time if daily capacity limits are reached — even if some events appear to have openings.

Rules & Equipment

All matches will be played in accordance with USA Pickleball rules and regulations in effect at the time of the tournament. Only USA Pickleball–approved equipment is permitted. Players using unapproved or modified equipment are subject to disqualification. For full rules and approved equipment lists, visit the USA Pickleball website.

Brackets & Registration

The Tournament Director reserves the right to combine brackets, adjust age divisions, or expand team limits as needed to ensure fair and competitive play.

Registration may close at any time if maximum daily capacity is reached, even if some divisions still appear to have openings.

Divisions with fewer than four (4) teams may be combined with the closest appropriate skill level.

Refund Policy

• A $25 administrative/service fee will be deducted from all approved refunds.

• PickleballTournaments.com event fees are non-refundable ($5 per event, max $10).

Refund Timeline

• Before February 20: Full refund minus admin and processing fees

• February 20 – February 28: 50% refund minus admin and processing fees

• On or after March 1: No refunds for any reason

Waitlist Policy

• Players placed on a waitlist will not be charged an event fee until moved into the event.

• If a player does not move off the waitlist, a refund will be issued after the tournament, minus processing and admin fees.

Refund Processing

• All refunds will be processed 7–10 days after the conclusion of the tournament.

Registration Fees

Early Bird: Jan 16 – Feb 6 — $45

Regular: Feb 7 – Mar 7 — $60

Late: Mar 8 – Mar 15 — $75

March 20–22 | Doubles Tournament

Total prize pool is split across 8 events and is based on 12 teams/players per event. Prize pool may increase or decrease depending on registration.

🏆 OPEN DIVISIONS

Entry Fee:

• $75 per player, per event — goes directly into that event’s prize purse

• More teams = bigger payout for YOUR division

Format:

• 6 team minimum to run

• Up to 16 teams max (TD discretion)

Payout Structure (Per Event):

🥇 1st – 55%

🥈 2nd – 30%

🥉 3rd – 15%

Sample Prize Payouts (Based on 12 Teams/Players)

• Men’s Singles Open — $900 purse

• Men’s Doubles Open — $1,800 purse

• Women’s Doubles Open — $1,800 purse

• Mixed Doubles Open — $1,800 purse

🏆 4.5–5.0 DIVISIONS

• $50 per player, per event is put directly into that event’s prize purse

• More teams = bigger payout for YOUR division
