This will be an Up the River tournament. During this tournament, each individual will be assigned a partner for every game and players are guaranteed to play 5 total games. The players are assigned a court and play 12-minute games (the games will be timed by the pros at the event). The winning team is the score after 12 minutes games. If the score is tied at 12 minutes, the next rally point wins. The winning team moves up a court, the losing team moves down a court, and partners split for the next game. This continues for the duration of the event.

Health & Safety
PICKLEBALL IS FRIENDLIER ON THE BODY THAN MOST OTHER SPORTS. HOWEVER, LIKE ANY OTHER SPORT, THERE IS A RISK OF INJURY THAT COMES ALONG WITH PLAYING THE GAME. TO HELP REDUCE THE RISK OF INJURY ON THE PICKLEBALL COURT AND PLAY PICKLEBALL SAFELY, CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING PICKLEBALL SAFETY TIPS:
Be sure to have the proper shoes, ones that support your feet and are designed for court sports.
Check with your doctor regarding your participation in exercise and any physical conditions that exist or may have previously existed.
Warm-up:
The main purpose of a warmup period is to raise the general body temperature prior to playing. When the body temperature is raised it will increase your ability to perform the stretching exercises. The warmup period should be approximately 5 minutes. Try a fast walk to the pickleball courts, riding a bike, or treadmill. These are just a few examples of a total body warmup.
