Welcome to the WA Youth Classic 2025. This Tournament will be hosted at the Nollamara Tennis Club in Nollamara, Western Australia and is open to all PAWA Junior members 18 years old and below.
At this time we are hoping to have more juniors than last year therefore we have booked for Saturday 6th Dec & Sunday 7th Dec. Should we not achieve the higher numbers of entrants then we will play all events on the Saturday.
This tournament will use the current USA Pickleball Official Rules 2025. They can be found at: USA Pickleball (https://usapickleball.org/what-is-pickleball/official-rules/).
This tournament is a PAA Sanctioned event and as such we follow certain guidelines from the national body including the use of approved paddles. Refer to this link to check your paddles. https://equipment.usapickleball.org/paddle-list/

REGISTRATION
- To register Western Australian residents will need to be a PAWA member (join here https://www.pickleballwa.org.au/membership) and non residents must be a members of PAA. All registrants must have a DUPR account and a Pickleball Brackets login and profile. Profile must contain your contact number, email & PAA ID number.
- Opens: Thursday 9th October 2025 @ 8:00 am.
- Registration Closes: Sunday 23rd November 2025 @ 8pm.
FEES
- Registration Fee: $30.00 per player (Includes 1 Singles & 1 Gender Doubles & 1 Coed Doubles events)
EVENTS
- Qualifying games will be a round robin format and finals will be elimination
- You can enter in one singles event, one gender doubles and one coed doubles event according to the age and skill level.
- 9 & Under
Qualifying matches will be 1 game to 7 (win by 1) change @ 4
Finals matches will be 1 game to 11 (win by 1) change @ 6
- 12 & Under
Qualifying matches will be 1 game to 11 (win by 2) change @ 6
Finals matches will be 1 game to 11 (win by 2) change @ 6
- 15 & Under
Qualifying matches will be 1 game to 15 (win by 2) change @ 8
Finals matches will be 1 game to 15 (win by 2) change @ 8
- 18 & Under
Qualifying matches will be 1 game to 15 (win by 2) change @ 8
Finals matches will be 1 game to 15 (win by 2) change @ 8
Medal Matches will be Best of 3 games to 11 (win by 2). If a 3rd game is required change @ 6.
- Players are guaranteed a minimum of three games in each event
- Medals will be awarded to Gold, Silver and Bronze winning competitors for each bracket.
PLEASE NOTE:
- When registrations are closed, any event with insufficient numbers for a competition will need to be collapsed and combined with another event.
- The tournament director reserves the right to cancel or modify the events and/or schedule as needed pending influences beyond our control.
DELAYS
- If you are unavoidably detained and you may not arrive in time for your game/match, please contact the Tournament Director. We may be able to adjust the schedule and consider options but your game may result in a forfeit.
If you are more than 10 minutes late for your game your result may be a forfeit!
Each age group will consist of players of all skill levels.
