Pickle for a Purpose is a fundraiser is for the Youth Volunteer Corps of Hampton Roads (YVCHR).
YVCHR engages youth (age 11-18) in meaningful volunteer opportunities that positively impact the lives of others. Established in 2009, YVCHR is the first YVC affiliate in the state of Virginia and is one of more than 40 affiliates internationally.

Tournament Info:
Tournament will be held at Back Creek Park Pickleball Courts on 3000 Goodwin Neck Rd, Yorktown, VA 23692.
Matches will take place on 12 outdoor dedicated pickleball courts. Bring a tent and chairs. Food Trucks will be on hand Sat. & Sun.
There will be Skill & Age Divisions in Men's and Women's Singles, Doubles, and Mixed Doubles.
Age Divisions: 10+, 35+, 50+, 60+, 65+, 70+
Skill Divisions: 3.0+, 3.5+, 4.0+, 4.5+
FRIDAY NIGHT COED Split-Age - CASH PRIZE FOR ALL 3 SKILL LEVEL EVENTS:
Skill Level: 3.0+, 3.5+, 4.0+
Age Requirement: 1 player under 40 and 1 player above 40.
COED teams can consist of: Male/Male, Female/Female, Male/Female
NOTE:
1. All three COED Split-Age brackets will have cash prizes. Register today to get in on the cash payouts!
2. A minimum number of teams (8 for each bracket) will be required for a full cash prize for each COED Split-Age bracket.
3. Each division breakdown of dollars will be awarded as follows:
Gold = 50%
Silver = 30%
Bronze = 20%
4. Prize money is dependent on sign-ups and may change proportionally based on sign-ups.
(If a division is half full then the prize money would be half.)
5. $20 per event fee
6. Ratings will be verified for 3.0+ and 3.5+ events. PLEASE - NO SANDBAGGING!!
Gold, silver, and bronze medals will be awarded to the top 3 teams in each bracket.

Friday, Oct. 3, 2025 - Men's and Women's Singles (Late Morning/ Early Afternoon)
Co-Ed Split-Age (Start at 5pm)
Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025 - Men's and Women's Doubles
Sunday, Oct. 5, 2025 - Mixed Doubles
*Full Bracket Schedule & Start Times will be released the week of the tournament.

Tournament Fees:
Early Registration Fee is $25!! This ends on Friday 5/16/25
Regular Registration Fee will be $35 starting on Saturday 5/17/25.
The registration fee is per player and includes free tournament sponsor giveaways.
Event fees are $10 per event for all Skill & Age events. $20 for Cash Prize events only.
There will also be a Pickleball Brackets non-refundable service fee of $5 per event or a maximum of $10 when registering for 2 or more events.
For doubles events, priority will be given to teams that have both partners registered. Teams with only one partner registered and teams with no designated partner will be waitlisted. To secure your spot in a doubles bracket, please make sure that both you and your partner are registered.
