This event will be held indoors at the West Indy Racquet Club in Indianapolis, Indiana. We’ll have 12 nets set up on the tennis courts, all specifically lined for pickleball.
Our court is a melting pot of talent! Deaf, Hard of Hearing, CODAs, Hearing, and ASL users—all are welcome.
Tournament STARTS at 1:30pm until 7:30pm
Franklin X-40 will be official ball in use for this tournament.
DUPR: Please have your DUPR set up if you don’t have one. Register at mydupr.com then join the Indy Deaf Pickleball Club on DUPR. The result of the tournament will be submitted to DUPR. Please let us know if you need assist.
EVENT FORMAT:
Round Robin and then Single Elimination Playoff.
All round robin, pre-medal, and bronze game scores will be one game to 11, win by 1
All gold/silver games will be one game to 11, win by 2
Robin Robin Tiebreaker:
During Round Robin when there is a head-to-head, the tiebreaker logic is as followed:
1st tie-breaker: head-to-head matches won
2nd tie-breaker: points differential of all games played
3rd tie-breaker: head-to-head point differential
4th tie-breaker: point differential against next-highest team
5th tie-breaker: match coordinator will refer to who has the higher DUPR/PBR score as an individual or the average as a team
Pickleball Prizes:
GOLD : Awarded to the 1st place team/player
SILVER : Awarded to the 2nd place team/player
BRONZE : Awarded to the 3rd place team/player
