WOMENS, MENS AND MIXED DOUBLES EVENTS

Double Elimination Skill/Age You can register 'up 1.0 points' in skill level, if desired. For example, if your UTPR is 3.0, you are eligible to play in the 3.0 skill level event, the 3.5 skill event, or the 4.0 skill event - but NOT the 4.5 skill level event (as that is over 1.0 points). You can register 'down' in age events.

Skill 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0. Age 50+, 60+, 70+ (double elimination)

Skill 4.5 Age 50+ and 65+ (double elimination)

THE MIXED EVENTS IS NOW FULL. The Maximum registrations for the day has been reached. If you are having problems registering a partner that hasn't registered yet or you find partner and need to have them register, please contact the Registrar at 'eastvalleyreg@gmail.com' with your partner's name and location and the Registrar will add the partner. Once added, the player must complete their registration by signing waiver and paying.

REGISTRATION OPENS

October 5, 2023 at 12 Noon Arizona Time

Attention Players: When registering make sure you list your cell phone number as we will be using text messages to alert you when you are playing and what court you will be on.

USAPA MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENT

You must be a current USAPA member in order to play in this sanctioned tournament.

The UTPR Rating System will be used for this tournament.

Wednesday, November 15, 2023 Mixed Doubles 50+, 60+, 70+, (3.0, 3.5, 4.0) 50+, 65+ (4.5)

Thursday, November 16, 2023 Mens Doubles 50+, 60+, 70+, (3.0, 3.5, 4.0) 50+, 65+ (4.5)

Friday, November 17, 2023 Inclement Weather make up day

Tournament Director reserves the right to divide and/or combine brackets or change the format based on registration.

CHECK IN

Please check in at least 30 minutes before your scheduled start time. You will be required to show Photo ID. Your bracket may start 30 minutes earlier than scheduled. If there is an emergency and you will not make your check in time, please contact the Tournament Director at (970) 739-3905.

PLAYER FEES

Registration Fee - $50.00 (includes referee fee)

Event fee (each event entered) - $10.00

Pickleball Brackets Surcharge (will show on your receipt) - $5.00/event entered

CONFIRMATION

A registration is not considered confirmed until both partners are completely registered and fees are paid. Both partners have 3 weeks from their first registration to sign up or they will be moved to the wait list.

An event will be considered filled when paid/completed registrations for that event reach established maximums.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Players age is determined as of 12/31/2023

Minimum age of any player shall be 50

Registration starts October 5, 2023 at 12 noon Arizona time

Final registration deadline (Received by) 11/1/2023

Membership required through 11/19/2023

The 50+ and 60+, and 70+ age groups will have 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0 skill level events. There will be 50+ and 65+ age groups for the 4.5 skill level events. All will be double elimination.

The tournament director reserves the right to change the format to a round-robin, one game to 15, win by 2, if there are less than 6 teams registered in any age/skill group.

Should an event be changed to a round-robin, each match will be one game to 15, win by 2. There will NOT be medal match playoffs, medals will be awarded per games won with point differential as the tie-breaker, if needed.

Cancellation Deadline 11/1/2023

Players withdrawing from the tournament prior to 11/1/2023 (October 31st at midnight) will be subject to a $15 Admin Fee. No refunds given after 11/1/2023 12:01 am.
