<strong>Format & Scheduling<strong>
This is a round robin tournament. Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 3 matches (barring no-shows). Standard format is 1 game to 15, win by 2.
Per USAP Rule 12.B.2, brackets with 6 or more teams may use a 1-game-to-11 format to help stay on schedule.
Brackets will be assigned to specific courts.
Team pool placement and redraws will be based on DUPRs the night before play.
Schedules and team groupings are subject to change due to last-minute withdrawals.
<strong>Rules & Officiating<strong>
This is not a USAP-sanctioned event, but USAP rules will be followed.
* Roaming referees will be available on-site to help with rule issues.
* All paddles must be USAP-approved (players may be asked to verify).
<strong>Registration Fees</strong>
<strong>For our regular events (everything but OPEN)<strong>
1 Event entered = $75 + $5 PB.com Service Fee = $80 total
2 Events entered = $75 + $10 PB.com Service Fee = $85 total
3 Events entered= $75 + $5 charge + $10 PB.com Service Fee = $90 total

<strong>For our OPEN division, each OPEN event has a $10 charge associated with it.<strong>
The prize money associated with each OPEN event will depend on the number of teams. For each OPEN event, $40 of the registration cost per player will go to the prize purse. SMPA will subsidize the remaining amount needed to reach the Guaranteed Purse - IF 10 teams/OPEN bracket register, and no other sponsors come on board.
