Welcome to the first annual Macon City Summer Shootout. The Macon Pickleball Club and Long Branch YMCA invite you to the city of Maples to bring your "A" game and enjoy a weekend of competition and fun.

The format for this event will be round robin with single elimination playoffs for the top three teams. Larger brackets may be divided in to pools with the top two or three teams advancing to the playoffs. Games will be 1 to 15, win by 2 except for medal matches will be 2/3 to 11, win by 2. The tournament director reserves the right to change the format or merge brackets as needed.

The Tournament will follow USA Pickleball rules. Referees will be on duty and will officiate matches as directed by the head referee. Players are responsible for verifying that their paddle is included on the approved USA Pickleball paddle list. This list can be found at https://equipment.usapickleball.org/

Registration for the tournament is $40 for one event and $15 per additional event. (Please note that pickleballbrackets.com will add a system fee of $5 or $10 to this amount, depending on how many events you register for.)

Refunds minus a $15 fee is available until June 1, 2025. Please note that funds cannot be transferred to another player. In the event that a player needs a substitute, they will have to withdraw and the substitute player will have to register and pay registration fees.
