Tournament Description
This is the 1st annual benefit tournament for the Mesquite Historical Society. All proceeds go to restoration and maintenance of historical sites within the Mesquite City limits. This first tournament will raise funds to help in the restoration of the Relief Society House and the Mesquite Rock House, the oldest standing house in Mesquite originally built in 1894.
Events are Women's Doubles, Mixed Doubles, and Men's Doubles
Registration fee (includes a commemorative participation pin): $30.00
Event fee: $10.00 per event

Registrations received by 04/05/2023 will also receive a t-shirt for the event.
Registrations are not final until both partners are registered. Players without partners or those whose partner does not register within 14 days will be moved to a wait list until a partner is registered.
Additional Information
Tournament is non-sanctioned and self-refereed. All events will be round-robin or double-round robin depending on registrations. Minimum bracket size: 3 teams, maximum bracket size: 14 teams. Brackets larger than 8 teams will be split into pools with a playoff bracket format. Match formats will be either 1 game to 15, win by 2, or best 2/3 games to 11, win by 2. Specific brackets and match formats will be published after registration closes and no later than 3 days in advance of play. Tournament Director may combine brackets by age group as needed to have reasonably sized brackets.
Skill levels: 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0.
Age brackets: 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, 90+
All participants will receive a commemorative pin of the tournament. Bracket winners will have their names inscribed on a perpetual plaque for the tournament maintained at the Historical Society offices.
Refund Policy
All refund requests must be submitted via email before the close of registration - April 17, 2023 6:00 PM PST. No refunds after that date except in the event of cancellation of an event by the tournament organizer due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Players remaining on the wait list will have their fees refunded at the close of the tournament.
All refunds will be in the form of an account credit towards a future Recreation Center event or activity.

Parking Fee: No Fee
Parking available at the venue, on the roadside adjacent to the venue, and across the street in the West parking lot of the Mesquite Recreation Center. Please do NOT park in front of the Recreation Center as that area is reserved for Recreation Center members only.
