1st Annual Yachad Toronto Pickleball Tournament - 2025

Location : Rally Pickleball at Sherwood Village, Mississauga, Ontario - 17 indoor courts with professional nets and surface.

Yachad Toronto's 1st Pickleball Tournament unites the community to support programs for people with special needs.

Participation Details

Entry Fee:

Early Bird Special $150 until April 7 |

$200 Regular Participation Fee - April 8-May 2

Food and Drinks: Kosher Lunch will be served

Finals will be refereed to the extent possible.

Additional Information

Below you will find all the information you need. Please read over it carefully!

1. All players must check-in at the tournament desk upon arrival at Rally Pickleball at Sherwood Village, Mississauga. (Please do not go onto the courts without checking in.)

2. Each interested participant is eligible to play either of 2 options below

a) Any one age category of just gender doubles OR

b) Any one age category of both gender doubles and mixed doubles

Registration remains the same i.e 150$ whether you play in 1 or 2 category divisions.

For eg. If you are 3.5 male, 55 years old, You can either play in either 19+ OR 50+ category of mens and mixed or just mens doubles. You can ONLY play down in age category.

3. All payments to be made in the main website https://www.yachad.org/toronto/pickleball. No tournament registration fees will need to be paid on pickleball brackets/tournaments website.

4. We highly encourage registering with a partner, but we welcome individual registrations as well. If you don't have a partner, please register as an individual and indicate "Need a partner". In the registrants list, there will be several players, looking for partner as well. Feel free to contact them via the buttons/forms provided.

5. Your spot is not guaranteed in your event until both partners are registered and paid in full. Both partners have 5 days to register before being placed onto the waitlist.

6. All players must have a DUPR account as scores will be uploaded to DUPR automatically. If you don't have a DUPR account, please create one at https://dashboard.dupr.com/signup

7. Join the Ontario Pickleball Academy DUPR club at https://dashboard.dupr.com/dashboard/browse/clubs/8060198123

8. Tournament director has the rights to move players UP or DOWN keeping in mind the self rating or DUPR if available to see what's best for the event.

IMPORTANT - On your player profile, make sure you have 'receive in game text messages' checked to 'YES' AND Cell Carrier should be selected. This is how you will receive your game notifications and court assignments. Please keep your phone close to you and be aware of getting a TEXT for your next matches and results.

Please arrive 30 mins prior to the start of your event.

Format : Players will play a ROUND ROBIN pool play leading into a play-offs based on number of teams registered.

Note : Events could be combined if there are less number of teams registered. Depending on the number of registered players/teams in each event, we will combine events either based on skill or age to provide the best overall playing experience, given the circumstances.

Plenty of outdoor parking at Sherwood Village mall.

Health & Safety

Only water allowed on courts. No coloured drinks or beverages allowed on courts.

Wear only clean, court appropriate shoes while playing.
