Welcome to The Grove's $2000 Dallas Moneyball!
This tournament features men's and mixed 20-team brackets with a total purse of $1,000 per bracket and is available for anyone that wants to compete.
The men's bracket will take place on September 14th (Saturday) and the mixed bracket will taken place on September 15th (Sunday). Start time for both the men's and mixed bracket is 8am.
This is a double-elimination doubles bracket where the format is one game to 15; medal matches will be traditional best 2 of 3 games to 11 (if time allows).
Teams competing in the both the men's and mixed bracket must have a combined Doubles DUPR of 9.0 or lower to qualify.
Team DURP will be verified the day of registration. If an individual does not have a Doubles DUPR, they will be assigned a 4.5 DUPR rating.
***self-entered matches will be manually reversed when calculating for a team's DUPR. this is done to prevent people from dropping their DUPR score to be eligible***
All games will be entered into DUPR.
The cost for each team is $120 ($60/individual) during early-bird registration (August 19th-September 6th) and $160 ($80/individual) during regular registration.
1st place team - $600
2nd place team - $250
3rd place team - $150
All prizes will be paid out in cash/check.
If the tournament does not fill up the prize pool will adjust accordingly (e.g. if only 10 teams sign up, 1st place receives $300, 2nd place receives $125, and 3rd place receives $75).
