The Connecticut Sports Management Group presents the Nutmeg State Games Skill Level/Age Group Pickleball Tournament.

This is a qualifying event for BOTH the 2019 and 2021 State Games of America tournaments. The 2019 Tournament will be held in Lynchburg, VA from July 31st through August 4th.

Registration is open to players of all ages.

Skill levels are 3.0 and under, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5+

A team must play at the skill level of the higher rated player and the age of the younger player.

USAPA members with a UPTR rating, must register for that level or higher. If they do not have a UPTR rating, they may use their legacy rating.

Players who are not USAPA members may self rate. Please seek the advice of an experienced fellow player when self rating.

The tournament director reserves the right to move players and teams to appropriate skill levels.

Groups may be combined or split at the discretion of the tournament director. Medals will be awarded by the competitive event.

Women's Doubles and Men's Singles will be held on Friday, June 21st

Mixed Doubles will be held on Saturday, June 22nd

Men's Doubles and Women's Singles will be held on Sunday, June 23rd

The tournament format is round robin for events with a small number of teams. For events with more than 9 teams, teams will be divided into two pools and the top two teams in each pool will advance to a playoff round to determine medal winners.

Tournament results will be sent to the USAPA for inclusion in USAPA Tournament Player Ratings*

The registration fee is $50 for up to two events and $10 for an additional event. There will be a practice session on Thursday, June 20th from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM. A $6 per person fee for the session can be paid at registration. Spouses and friends of players are welcome.
