**** At the end of the tournament, results will be uploaded for inclusion in the USAPA Tournament Player Ratings (UTPRs.)
Age groups are 17+, 50+, 60+, and 70+.
Age groups 50+ and 60+ may be divided into 5 year groups if the divisions become too large.
**** Age is calculated as of 12/31/2020.
**** NOTE: You will see all the skill/age divisions you are eligible to play in. Pay close attention to the division you are registering for to be sure it's the correct choice. Example a 3.5/62 player will see at least 2 choices: 3.5/60 and 4.0/60 as you can play a maximum of up one level in skill.
A team must play at the skill level of the higher rated player (or up an additional level) and the age of the younger player.
Divisions will initially be limited to 6 teams. As registration proceeds, they may be expanded to 8 to 12 teams or reduced to accommodate larger or combined divisions. Divisions may be combined to create playable brackets; awards will be based on the original division and not the combined bracket. Brackets will be combined by closest age groups and rarely by skill.
**** Although registration officially opens on December 1, 2019, early preregistration is available to previous Palatka Azalea tournament players as a thank you for their past support.
You may register and identify your partner or request "Need partner". Your partner must register within two days of your registration or the team will be moved to the wait list. When the identified partner registers after the two day grace period, the team will automatically be moved from the wait list back to the active list if there is a slot available. If a player requests a partner, the team will move from the wait list to the active list once a partner is identified and registers if there is an available slot to move to.
Partners will not be sought or assigned by the tournament, you will have to select your own partner. Players needing a partner will be shown on this website by event.
Matches will not have referees. If one is requested, we will do the best we can to find one.
Tournament format is subject to change as necessary by the tournament director.
Player skill levels are subject to adjustment by the tournament director based on past performance.
