Welcome back to the Australian Pickleball Championships after a 2 year COVID hiatus.
With a bigger range of events than ever before we look forward to participants of all ages and skill levels.
New to the APC event schedule will be Junior, Hybrid and Skinny Singles Divisions.
All competitors my enter up to 6 events.
This can include
Singles - One event only (1)
Gender Doubles - Open Doubles and only one skill/ age division (2)
Mixed Doubles - Open event and only one age skill division (2)
Hybrid event - free entry (1)
AGE DIVISIONS ON OFFER: Junior, 18+, 35+, 50+, 60+, 65+, 70+
SKILL LEVELS ON OFFER: Open, 4.0+, 3.5-4.0, 2.5-3.5, 2.5 and below
Skill and age divisions will be adjusted (merged or divided) at the discretion of the tournament committee once registrations close.
The schedule of events is as follows, exact timings will be released once entries close and the schedule is finalised:
FRIDAY 30th September:
• Court Setup from 8am
• Matches from 12 noon
• Open Singles - Men's and Women's;
• 60+ and 70+ Singles and Skinny Singles (Men's and Women's)
• Coed Hybrid Pickleball Event
• Evening Social event (Details to be confirmed and released for RSVP)
SATURDAY 1st October
• Matches start from 8am: Singles and Skinny Singles (Men's and Women's) All other age and skill divisions.
• Saturday afternoon: Men's and Women's Open Doubles
• Start of age and skill division events in Men's and Women's Doubles (actual events to be held to be confirmed after entries close).
SUNDAY 2nd October
• Matches start from 8am: Completion of age and skill division events in Men's and Women's Doubles.
• Sunday afternoon: Open Mixed Doubles
• Start of age and skill division events in Mixed Doubles (actual events to be held to be confirmed after entries close).
MONDAY 3rd October
• Matches start from 8am: Completion of age and skill division events in Mixed Doubles. It is expected the majority of Mixed Doubles events will be played on this day.
• Tournament completion expected to be by 3pm.
Please note, that while a completion time has been listed tournament organisers cannot be held responsible for delays due to extended match times and potential weather delays. Please make sure to take this into consideration when planning your travel for the tournament.
