The 2023 Idaho Senior Games will be held in Boise and Meridian, Idaho, in August and September. Registration typcially opens on June 1st. More details will be posted on this website as it becomes available.

The Idaho Senior Games have been an important part of active seniors' lives since 1989. Our games is a social, recreational and competitive experience designed to encourage health and fitness among men and women over the age of 50, at all fitness levels.

The Idaho Senior Games is an Associate Member of the National Senior Games Association (NSGA). Our athletes can qualify to participate in the National Senior Games event held every other year. The 2023 National Event is scheduled for Pittsburgh in July.

Our organization is coordinated by a State Director, a Board of Directors and a dedicated volunteer staff. Our goal is to put on the best State Games in the country!

There are only 3 skill level

Advanced (4.0+)

Intermediate (3.5)

Recreational (3.0 and under)

5 year age groups

Round Robin Brackets (3 Minimum Teams)

3 teams or players will play a double round robin, 1 to 15, win by 2.

4 and 5 teams or players will play a single round robin, 2 out of 3 to 11, win by 2.

6 and 7 teams or players are a single round robin 1 to 15 win by 2

8 or more teams will be split into pools - the top 2 from each pool with have a playoff

Brackets with Fewer than 3 teams

1 or 2 teams or players will be moved into a combined bracket. The number of teams or players will determine the format of play.

The Round Robin results must be determined following the USA Pickleball Rulebook:

Rule12.C.3. Round Robin.

All players or teams play each other. Games may use any of the approved tournament scoring options. (See Rule 12.B.)

The winner is determined based on number of matches won. If two or more teams are tied:

12.C.3.a. First tie-breaker: head-to-head matches won.

12.C.3.b. Second tie-breaker: point differential of all games played. (e.g., Team A won Match 1 11-8, 11-4, so they would have a point differential of +10. Team A then wins the second match 11-9, 2-11, 11-6. For this round, they would have a point differential of -2. This would give them a total for the day of +8.)

12.C.3.c. Third tie-breaker: head-to-head point differential.

12.C.3.d. Fourth tie-breaker: point differential against next-highest team. (e.g., If the teams are tied for second, use point differentials against the first-place team.)

If there are "unbalanced pools", point differential may be used instead of head to head.

If a refund may be given for family or medical emergencies only. A $10.00 administrative fee will be charged for all refunds
