Everyone who enters by October 15, 2023 will receive a special code to enter the first ever PPA event to be held in Virginia via priority early registration!!!!

We will be using the the Dura-40 for all divisions.

$45 Registration Fee, $10 Referee Fee, $5 Volunteer Fee for a total of $60.

We are a non-profit 501(c)3 and all of the monies raised goes back into Virginia Pickleball, seniors, youth para-pickleball, etc.

All matches will have referees to the extent that referees are available.

We are continuing our Paddle Raffle with the best paddles on the market!

There are two locations for this tournament: Pouncey Tract in Short Pump and The Springs Rec Center in Highland Springs.

Wheelchair Division:

The Para-PIckleball division will take place at 5pm on Friday at Pouncey Tract. Please be there by 4:30 to check in. Please register for the Co-Ed Doubles - Para Pickleball Division.

Format

Winners Bracket

This tournament will be double elimination, 2 out of 3 to 11 win by 2 in the winners bracket.

Losers Bracket / Opportunity Bracket

One game to 15 win by 2 in the loser bracket. Keep winning or this event is over....

Losers bracket can win all the way back to the Gold!

Smaller brackets may be moved to a round robin. The tournament briefing will notify you should that change be made along with the scoring changes if any.

Changes may be made as necessary to any/all brackets at the discretion of the tournament director up to the start of play of each bracket.

No refunds, however, we offer a credit to a future tournament should your schedule / injury not allow you to participate.

Open divisions will play for a prize money pot of $10,000.00.*

*Prize money total dependent on brackets reaching 7 teams each.

50% for Gold, 30% for Silver, 20% for Bronze

$1250 for singles

$2,500 for doubles

We do our best to get all games in. If your bracket does not start due to rain, we will credit you for a future tournament. The credit is for the event if you played in another bracket or a full credit if you did not get a chance to play at all.

We understand the safety aspects of pickleball and we do what we can for you. There is a first aid tent with medical supplies and an AED.
