Pickleball Brackets is not yet integrated with DUPR, however we understand that this is planned in the future. For now we ask that you enter your DUPR rating when you set up your profile and we will use this for pool seeding. We also recommend you enter your DUPR ID in the profile set up so once Pickleball Brackets is integrated with DUPR, your results will go to DUPR.
This year match results will NOT be automatically entered into DUPR by us, but you could do this directly requiring verification from the other players.
The Hall cafe will be open on all three days, offering great food at excellent prices - eftpos will be available. Barista Coffee will also be available.
The Tournament Crew will be available from 9am Friday to answer any questions.
Tournament briefings will be at 10:45am on Friday, 7:45am on Saturday and 8:45am Sunday - all players are asked to attend one of these sessions. Play will start promptly at 11am on Friday, 8:00am on Saturday and 9:00am on Sunday, unless advised differently.
The Tournament will be timed Round Robin format, and will be a single game, to 21, with win by 2 for all games except the medals matches which will be best of 3 games to 11, win by 2. We have decided to limit the time of all of the pool games to 25 minutes, with 5 minutes warm-up before the next game. If there is a draw when the hooter goes, the winner of the next point, irrespective of who is serving, will win the match.
All games will be self-scored, apart from medal matches. Sheets will be provided to record the results for each game, and these must be signed by a player from each team upon completion of the game, and returned to the Tournament Crew Desk immediately after each game is completed - by the winning team.
The Super Category is exclusively for those that are 60 years of age or over on Friday 29th September 2023, with the Open Category for any age, including over 60, but you can only enter in one category.
The full draw will be locked in place a week before the tournament starts.
