Join us for a weekend of pickleball fun on September 7th & 8th in beautiful Grand Rapids, MN. The Lakes and Loons Pickleball Classic will feature men's and women's doubles as well as mixed doubles competition at the 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5+ levels. There will be two age divisions - players age 59 and younger and 60+. The tournament directors reserve the right to modify or combine levels and/or age brackets depending on registration numbers.

A round robin format will be used with all teams advancing to a single elimination tournament. Teams will be guaranteed a minimum of 4 games. Results will be reported to DUPR.

On Friday evening, September 6th, the Itasca County Pickleball Association (ICPA) will be hosting a complimentary social for all tournament players. Please plan to join us for an evening of fun with our pickleball community. A light lunch will also be provided each day of the tournament for players.

This is an outdoor tournament. There will not be an indoor back-up site. If the tournament is cancelled or delayed for any or all of the events, no refunds will be issued.

The registration fee is $20 and includes a tournament t-shirt. Event fees are $35 per event. The pickleballbrackets.com service fee is $5 per event and is capped at $10. This fee is non-refundable.

Once one member of your team completes their registration, the other member of your team has 15 days to complete the registration process. Teams that are not fully registered within the 15-day time frame will be moved to the waitlist.

Registration begins on May 1, 2024 and closes August 15, 2024 or when the tournament reaches its capacity.

Proceeds from this tournament will support the ICPA and the Itasca County Family YMCA.

Refunds will be available for tournament withdrawals up to September 1, 2024. After September 1st, no refunds will be given. The Pickleballbrackets.com service fee, which is $5 per event at the time of registration, is non-refundable.

No refunds will be issued if the tournament is cancelled, delayed or if the format is abbreviated due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. Every effort will be made to safely play the event.
