Welcome to the Rocky Mountain State Games (RMSG) Pickleball Tournament

RMSG is Colorado's largest multi-sport festival for athletes of all ages and athletic abilities, including those with physical disabilities or visual impairment. The pickleball events will be held in Colorado Springs, at Monument Valley Park, July 18-21, 2024

VERY IMPORTANT - PLAYER RATINGS:

Players will self rate and cannot play lower than their USA Pickleball Tournament Player Rating (UTPR). Players may only play up in skill .5 from their profile rating. Tournament Director reserves the right to correct underrated players.

We ask that all players respect the integrity of the game and of each event by entering at their most accurate skill level.

COMPETITION FORMAT DETAILS - This will be a round-robin tournament with a medal playoff following the round-robin

Using the Franklin X-40 ball

Thursday - Mixed Senior (60+ events)

Friday - Men's & Women's Doubles (60+ events)

Saturday - Men's & Women's Doubles (under 60 events) / Wheelchair Doubles (gender-neutral and geared for 3.0/3.5 skills)

Sunday - Mixed Doubles (under 60 events)

Outdoor Skill/Age tournament on tennis surface

Format:

ALL Round Robin with playoffs for Gold/Silver/Bronze. All games/matches are win by 2

Most Round Robins are 1 to 15 but may change based on the number of players in the event. If an event has 7 or 8 teams, round-robin matches will be 1 to 11 by 2.

Top 4 teams go to the playoff (Lead in matches are 1 to 15 with the Gold Match with the option of 2/3-11w/2 or 1 to 15. Bronze Match 1 to 15.

TD may combine brackets as needed to ensure quality play.

Tournament may close at any time if maximum daily numbers are met (even if some events appear to have openings)

Pickleball Is Great reserves the right to refuse service at anytime

Sunday matches! Due to forecasted off and on rain, all Sunday (mixed) matches to start 30 min early. Teams please check in by 7am for a 7:30 start time. Thx for your flexibility!
