Tournament Description

Our 8th ANNUAL Charity fundraiser is played on 14 outdoor, lit pickleball courts at The Landings Club in Savannah,Ga. REGISTRATION CLOSES OCT 24, 2024 !!!

Pay for registrations with your credit card on Stripe. You are NOT completely registered until your partner registers, signs waiver & pays - if your partner hasn't registered within 7 days after your registration, you will be moved to the Wait List until both partners' registrations are completed !! Any paid registrant who loses a partner can ONLY replace him/her with a similar age/skill level player after registration deadline.

Skill level is taken from Pickleballbrackets rating, or self rate if 1st tournament. Players may play up in skill level, but not down, & down in age level, but not up. Tournament Director has the right to create a merged bracket of varying ages based on registration numbers to allow for more play for registrants.

OPEN CHALLENGE CASH PRIZES of $ 6,000.00 per event !!

Winners of each event split payout -- Gold winners split $ 3,000.00, Silver winners split $ 2,000.00, & Bronze winners split $ 1,000.00.

MONEYBALL events Double elimination, 2-3 games to 11, win by 2.

Skill/age games are Round Robin to 11 or 15, win by 1 ( Sudden Death).

FRI, NOV 1 - Women's Doubles, start 8:30 AM --

MXD MONEYBALL CHALLENGE, 4:00 PM.

SAT, NOV 2 -- Men's Doubles, 8:00 AM --

MD MONEYBALL CHALLENGE, 2:00 PM.

SUN, NOV 3 - Mixed Doubles, start 8:00 AM.

Amateur events play with Franklin X - Open Challenge play with Dura Fast.

Additional Information

MONEYBALL events play Double elimination, 2-3 games to 11, win by 2.

Skill/age games are played Round Robin to either 11 or 15, win by 1. Sudden Death if tied. We aim to provide at least 5 matches to justify travel & time costs. Winners are determined by total wins -- ties are determined by head to head wins, then point differential.

NO Refunds !!! This is a charity fundraiser, & your fees will be considered a donation to our 60+ athletes !!

Refund Policy

NO REFUNDS offered -- this is our SOLE fund raiser for our charity, Special Pops Tennis - savannah.com, a 501(c)3 organization. We provide Fall & Spring 10 week tennis & pickleball clinics, trips to tournaments, transportation, exercise, nutritional advice & 2 parties a year to over 65 athletes.

Your support provides much needed social & exercise time for our incredible athletes, so we Thank You for helping enrich their lives !

Prize Money

The MONEYBALL payout of $ 6,000.00 will be awarded in each Open Challenge event.

Gold winners receive $ 3,000.00 to split,

Silver winners receive $ 2,000.00 to split,

Bronze winners receive $ 1,000.00 to split.

Parking areas will be designated along Landings Way if parking lot full.

Health & Safety

ALL registrants must sign the liability waiver to be completely registered. A player is not completely registered for an event until BOTH partners are registered, paid, & waiver signed !!

All players play at their own risk.

The Tournament Director has the right to withdraw an injured player, or anyone who violates The Landings Club policies regarding sportsmanship or aggressive behavior.

No dogs are allowed on The Landings Club grounds.
