We invite you to join us for the 2024 Summer Sizzler Pickleball Tournament on August 9-11, 2024 hosted by the Albert Lea Area Pickleball Club (ALAPC). There will be two divisions - open age and 50+. The tournament will offer men's and women's singles (3.0, 3.5. 4.0+), men's and women's doubles (3.0, 3.5, 4.0+) and mixed doubles (3.0, 3.5, 4.0+). A round robin format will be used with all teams advancing to a single elimination tournament bracket. Players will be guaranteed a minimum of four games. The tournament directors reserve the right to modify/combine brackets based on registration numbers. Tournament results will be submitted to DUPR.

This is an outdoor tournament. There will not be an indoor back-up site. If the tournament is cancelled or delayed for any or all of the events, no refunds will be issued.

Complimentary snacks and water will be available for players. There will also be a food truck available to purchase food throughout the tournament.

The tournament registration fee is $30 plus $10 per event per person. There is an additional non-refundable service fee charge of $5 per event with a maximum of $10 per person for Pickleballbrackets. Registration/event fees will be refunded through August 1, 2024 minus a $10.00 administrative fee. After August 1st, no refunds will be made.

There will be no refunds issued due to weather cancellations.
