Round-robin format with playoffs for Gold/Silver/Bronze Medals

Open (prize money) and Skills events 3.0-4.0 (Age brackets for skills events will be determined following the close of registration, but will strive to be close to under 50, 50+, and even 60+ events if numbers allow.)

Players will self rate and can not play lower than their USA Pickleball Tournament Player Rating (UTPR). Players may only play up in skill .5 from their profile rating. Tournament Director reserves the right to correct underrated players.

Using the Selkirk Pro S1 ball

Each player is responsible to register and pay –

Early registration - $45 + event fee through Jan 31.

Standard registration - $60 + event fee through deadline Apr 24.

Any registration after deadline will be $75 + event fee

Event fees:

Open w/prize money - $50 (8 teams minimum)

Singles events - $25

Doubles events - $15

Friday - Women's Doubles / Men's Singles

Saturday - Mixed Doubles

Sunday - Men's Doubles / Women's Singles

Format:

ALL Round Robin games/matches are win by 2.

Most Round Robins are 1 to 15 but may change based on the number of players in the event. If an event has 7 or 8 teams, round-robin matches will be 1 to 11 by 2.

Top 4 teams go to the playoff (1st & 2nd seeds to play Gold Match. 3rd & 4th seeds to play Bronze Match.

Open Format:

Top 4 teams go to the playoff (Semi-final matches will be 1 to 15; Bronze and Gold Medal matches will have an option for 2/3 to 11)

TD may combine brackets as needed to ensure quality play.

Tournament may close at any time if maximum daily numbers are met (even if some events appear to have openings)

Outdoor Skill/Age tournament on tennis surface

DUPR scores are not reported

Pickleball Is Great reserves the right to refuse service at anytime.

$15 admin fee for all refunds

50% Refunds after 4/24/24

Weather refunds are up to 50% refunded for any weather related issues.

$1000 total prize money for each Doubles Open Division

$500 total prize money for each Singles Open Divisions

Open events require minimum of 8 teams registered by Apr 14. If 8 teams are not reached by Apr 14, we will create a 4.5+ skills event (no money payout) and refund the difference between skills/open event registration ($35 doubles / $25 singles).

5/1 3:30pm - Weather patterns are currently showing some iffy weather for Saturday/Sunday. We will let players know of any changes and everything to also be posted here.

Start times for Saturday only bumped up an hour as rain percentage increases toward afternoon. All 9am start times are 8am; 1pm start times are 12pm. Some game formatting changes may also change so all matches can be completed.
