Teams represent their school and the United States. Schools can register as many teams as they wish and there is no Nationals bid requirement to play. Players must fit the following criteria:

1. They are currently enrolled in at least 9 credit hours (6 for graduate level students) AND

2. The team they represent is made up of students all enrolled in that same school.

International teams represent a country, and may be made up of players from different schools.

In order for players to play on an international team representing a country they must meet one of the following criteria:

1. Any player that is currently taking college classes at a university located in the country they are representing OR

2. Any player that is currently taking a minimum of 9 college credits (6 for graduate level students) in the US, that is a national/citizen of the country they are representing.

Registration: Each player must register individually in the “Team Event” Bracket. Players and teams will be organized manually when draws are made.

64-Team Bracket. CPT Team Format. Round Robin group play that will seed into a single-elimination playoff. All teams are guaranteed 5 matches. Players registered for the Team Bracket may also register for the Singles Open, but not for the challenger events.

Match Format:

Group Play: All 4 games played. Rally Scoring to 21, win by 2. 16 Groups of 4 teams.

Elimination Bracket: First to 3 game wins. Rally Scoring to 21.

Round Robin Seeding:

During the round robin stage, teams will earn standing points that will determine their seed at the start of the 64-team single elimination bracket. This point system follows MLP's standing points system:

3 Points: Regulation win (i.e.: 3-1 or 4-0 win; no DreamBreaker needed)

2 Points: DreamBreaker win (i.e.: 3-2 win)

1 Point: DreamBreaker loss (i.e.: 2-3 loss)

0 Points: Regulation loss (i.e.: 1-3 or 0-4 loss; no DreamBreaker needed)

Tiebreaks are determined using this criteria:

1. Percentage games won (not including dreambreakers)

2. Percentage points won (not including dreambreakers)

64 Player Bracket. Round Robin group play that will seed into a 32-team single elimination playoff. Registration is open to all players.

Match Format:

Rally Scoring to 21, win by 2.

Change Ends at 11.

One 60 second timeout per match.

8 Groups of 8 teams.

32 Team Brackets. Round Robin group play that will seed into a 16-team single elimination playoff. Players registered for any challenger events may also register for the Singles open, but not the Team Bracket

Match Format:

Rally Scoring to 21, win by 2.

Change Ends at 11.

One 60 second timeout per match.

4 Groups of 8 teams.

All Brackets/Pools seeded by DUPR Rating.

The event has the right to shorten match formats if weather poses scheduling delays.

Please note that if you are playing in a doubles event and your partner does not register within 7 days of when you register, you will automatically be moved to the waitlist. Your spot in the main event will NOT be saved. If (after you are both registered and paid for the event) there is room in the main event, you will be moved back to the main event. If the event has filled up in the meantime, you will remain on the waitlist until a spot opens up.

*If you register for Doubles without a partner, the tournament is not responsible for pairing you with a partner. If you do not find a partner before registration closes, you will not move off the waitlist.

Players must be paid and have a registered and paid partner to be confirmed. Players not paid and without registered and paid partners will be moved to a wait list if the division in which a spot is being held is filled with fully registered and paid teams.

After registration is closed, any registered player losing a partner must replace that partner with an already registered player. Replacements need to be known and communicated to the registration contact by 6pm the day before you are scheduled to play. Replacements can be found on the players needing partners list.

Refund Policy

October 3, 2025 - CANCELLATION DEADLINE (for refunds minus a $25 withdrawal fee)

If you withdraw before the CANCELLATION DEADLINE ABOVE, you will be issued a full refund (with a $25 processing fee deducted) without the need to purchase Registration Insurance.

During registration you may choose to purchase the Registration and Weather Insurance Policy in the event you have to cancel out of the event after the CANCELLATION DEADLINE ABOVE. See the policy for specific coverage details. The insurance will also cover your event fee in case your event is cancelled due to weather without a make-up day option.

$16,000 USD Prize Pool

The top 6 US teams in the team event will earn a bid to the 2026 Collegiate National Championship. Only one bid will be awarded per school. In the event that a school that already has a earned a bid to nationals finishes within the top 6, the bid may be awarded to the next highest placed school that doesn't already have a bid.

The courts used at this tournament are a mix of covered and uncovered outdoor courts. If weather or any other unforeseen circumstance occurs, the Tour will do all it can to play matches. If brackets are in mid play when a weather or unforeseen circumstance occurs the situation will be evaluated on a case by case basis to determine if the bracket may be finished or if adjustments to the schedule and format are warranted.
