Welcome to the 2nd annual ARNOLD 4 Player "TEAM" Pickleball Championship to be held on Saturday March 8th and Sunday March 9th.
This will be our largest event to date and will be held at the awesome 16 court "Paddle Taps" Pickleball Facility in Columbus, Ohio and over the course of 2 days!
We're providing multiple skill and age divisions during the two-day tournament for both GENDER based and CO-ED events, so everyone has an event that fits their needs.
Registration cost per player is only $25.00 and $15.00 per division, so register once and play in GENDER based division on Saturday and CO-ED based division on Sunday for a GRAND Total of $55.00!
Each player will need to Register SEPERATLY, and it will appear as a "singles event" when doing so. I will compile the 4-player Teams behind the scenes from the list the Team Captains email to me.
The Male and Female divisions must have all 4 players of the same gender, while the CO-ED divisions can have any variations of gender but must have both.
CO-ED examples: 3 male & 1 Female or 2 male & 2 female or 1 male and 3 female.
CO-ED 4 Player Team divisions are on Saturday, March 8th and Gender 4 Player Team divisions are on Sunday March 9th. Times for every division are listed and preset to make it easier for you to plan your day.
Important note - Start times posted are actual start times for matches, so you'll need to arrive at least 30 minutes BEFORE your start time to sign in and warm up!
All divisions are Round Robin, with Top four Teams seeding into Medal Round, which will provide max playing time for everyone.
The beautiful "Paddle Taps" Pickleball Facility includes a restaurant, bar and Pro Shop for all your Pickleball needs, along with 16 individual spacious court!
Selkirk Pro 1 will be our official Tournament ball and used all through the tournament in every division.
To help our players, we've preset the date and time for every event, so you know before registering when you're playing.
You'll need to arrive 30 minutes before your posted playing time to check in warm up, as the posted time is the official "START" time for your matches.
During registration, you will have the opportunity to purchase a discounted ticket to the prestigious 2025 ARNOLD Sports Festival, held in downtown Columbus the prior weekend!
Over 200,000 athletes and sectators attend this event each year and looking forward to having a Pickleball presence there this year!

A Six Team Round Robin Tournament, featuring 4 player teams in gender-based and CO-ED Divisions in many skill and age divisions!
Each 4 player Teams will play a Round Robin event, with Top 4 Teams advancing to single elimination playoff in Medal Rounds. Awards to every player in Top 3 Teams!
All Games played will be normal side out scoring.
FIVE Round Robin games will be played by the Six Teams, which will lead to seeding of those Teams by games won during the Round Robin, with tie breakers of head-to-head and point differential.
Once seeded, a Single Elimination match of one game to 15, win by 1 will take place, with seed #1 playing seed #6, seed #2 playing seed #5 and seed #3 playing seed#4.
This will leave our Top Three Teams, with the highest seed getting a bye and the other two Teams playing one game to 15, win by 1 for bronze medal.
Winner of that game will take on the highest seed in the Gold/Silver match of one game to 15, win by 1.

Team Format Rules:
The format being used is simple to understand and is in place to ensure all 4 players from each Team are equally involved in every game and team chemistry is enhanced!
Before the start of each game, each team will select two of their players to be "Starters" and the remaining two will be designated "finishers" for each game.
The "Starters" will start play and must continue until ONE team reaches 8 points, at which time all 4 players will come out of the game and the "Finishers" for each team, will come in a play until end of game.
The rotation of players will be done during the 1-minute time out to switch ends of court as normal.
Every game, each team can rotate their players from "Starters" to Finishers" and vice versa as they chose.
