Join us for our 5th annual CT Pickleball Minnesota Summer Sendoff pickleball tournament hosted at Chip's Pickleball Club in Eagan! Get ready for a weekend full of community building, vendor village, food and drinks, and of course some amazing pickleball!
Let's break our own previous record of 598 participants!
For all regular events, teams are guaranteed 5 games. All regular events will have the format of pool play with all teams advancing to a single elimination bracket. Pool play games will be played to 11 points, win by 2. Playoff games will be played to 15 points, win by 2. 1st and 3rd place playoff games will be best 2 out of 3 games to 11, win by 2.
For all cash game events, the format is a double elimination bracket with a match format of best 2 out of 3 games to 11, win by 2. Backdraw games will be 1 to 15, win by 2. Backdraw can come around and win gold. There is no pool play for cash game events.
For the DUPR cash games, teams can be made up of 2 players of any gender. Female players get a 0.5 DUPR point discount. Senior players (ages 50+) get a 0.5 DUPR point discount. Female senior players get a 1.0 DUPR point discount. What this means: if your team is one 30-year-old male player with a DUPR of 4.24, and a 30-year-old female with a DUPR of 4.15 (this counts as 3.65), your team DUPR is 4.24+3.65= 7.89 and you would be eligible to play in the DUPR 8 event.
Teams will be limited to a single 1 minute timeout per game.

Partner registration: Please note that if your partner does not register within 7 days of when you register, you will automatically be moved to the waitlist. Your spot in the main event will NOT be saved. If (after you are both registered and paid for the event) there is room in the main event, you will automatically be moved back to the main event. If the event has filled up in the meantime, you will remain on the waitlist until a spot opens up.
Divisions can start as early as 8am and as late as 4pm. Start times will be emailed to all players no later than Sunday, Oct 19th at 5pm. Event durations vary and will depend on how well you do: the more you win, the longer you play. Events typically last between a half day and a whole day. We recommend you keep the entire day of the event open.
Sandbagging: Please sign up for the appropriate division according to your DUPR rating. If you do not have a DUPR rating, we are trusting that you self rate appropriately. We reserve the right to move players to appropriate divisions based on DUPR rating and director discretion. You must sign up for the event based on the higher rated partner. For example, a team of player 1 = DUPR 3.20 and player 2 DUPR = 3.67 must sign up for the 3.50-3.99 event.
We will send all players the final schedule of events, format of play, and all the final details and logistics of the tournament no later than Sunday, Oct 19th at 5pm.
Registration deadline for all events is Friday, Oct 17th at 11:55pm.
