2025 Pickle-icious Jingle Jam and Home Court Paddle Battle
EVENT DATES:
December 12, 2025 - Men's Doubles
December 13, 2025 - Mixed Doubles
December 14, 2025 - Women's Doubles and Family Doubles
Age Brackets: 18-59 and 60+
Family Bracket: Child 10-17, Adult 18+
(One adult 18+ who is a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, brother, sister, including steps and surrogates and one child 10-17)
FORMAT:
This is a NOT a USAP sanctioned event. This is a NON-Sanctioned ROUND ROBIN following the 2025 USA Pickleball Rules.
Round Robin either 1 game to 11, win by 2 switch ends at 6, or 1 game to 15 win by 2 switch ends at 8. All brackets will have playoffs for 1st, 2nd and 3rd. All teams in the same age and skill bracket will play against each other. Based on the number of teams in a bracket they may be two groups within the same age and skill.
SKILL LEVELS:
3.0 = UTPR or DUPR or *APPL Index: 3.000 - 3.499
3.5 = UTPR or DUPR or *APPL Index: 3.500 - 3.999
4.0 = UTPR or DUPR or *APPL Index: 4.000 - 4.499
4.5 = UTPR or DUPR: 4.500 - 4.999
Players may play in skill level events at, or 0.5 above, their rating at the time of registration. Players must LEVEL UP to the highest skill level on the team and AGE DOWN to the youngest player on the team.
Pickle-icious Jingle Jam will recognize national ratings from USA Pickleball Tournament Player Rating (UTPR) or Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating (DUPR)and APPL indexes. When registering players will only be allowed to sign up at skill level or 0.5 level above at the time of registration. We will not be recognizing the new UTR-Pickleball Rating (UTR-P) system for this tournament. We request honesty and integrity in selecting your skill level keeping in mind that the Pickle-icious Jingle Jam is a community fundraiser for We Care Tucson. Whereas it is a competition, the intent is to have fun while encouraging friendly and fair competition for a good cause. If you have a rating, please use it. Brackets are limited to no more than 12 teams per skill/age event or when the tournament director deems the courts are at capacity for the day. Additional teams will be put on the wait list and admitted if space permits.
You have one day for your partner to sign up before being moved to the waitlist. Order on the waitlist is determined by date and time of the first player of the team's registration. Therefore, entry of the team is not complete until BOTH team members create their online registrations & pay their fees. You will automatically be moved back into the event once your partner registers and pays, if there is still room in the event.
All fees and waivers must be submitted prior to the start of the tournament.
The Pickle-icious Jingle Jam is a FUNdraiser benefiting We Care Tucson and follows 2025 USA Pickleball Rules in a non-USAP sanctioned Round Robin format. All registered teams will compete for Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals within their skill and age brackets.
Tournament Director reserves the right to combine or split events, close events when courts are at capacity even if event is not full, and change format based on enrollment.

Players have the OPTION to take part in the Home Court Paddle Battle—a spirited, camaraderie-driven competition running alongside the tournament. In addition to bracket winners, one Home Court Paddle Battle team per division will earn a traveling trophy along with the pride and bragging rights for the year!
HOME COURT PADDLE BATTLE-HOW IT WORKS
HOME COURT DIVISIONS:
Each home court can enter 3 divisions—Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed Doubles with any skill or age group. Field one, two, or all three divisions- the more the merrier!
SIGN-UP:
When players and their partners register for the Jingle Jam, they simply check a box to join the Home Court Team of their choice. There are no extra matches to play and no extra fees to join. Only the first 5 teams who check the box will represent their home court in this part of the competition- first come, first served.
MATCHES:
It’s the same game: All players compete for medals in their age and skill brackets in a round robin.
What’s different: For partners participating on a Home Court Paddle Battle team, every point earned also counts toward their home court’s total. The home court with the highest overall score wins the traveling trophy and bragging rights for the year.
