Tournament Description
Friday, May 16, 2025 is a Pre-Tournament Prep session. This is a skill and drill session designed for emerging players or those with no tournament experience. The cost is $10 and will include coaching and drilling essential strokes, tournament strategies, and an overview of the rules. Only registered tournament players may attend. This may be listed as Coed Doubles Blind Draw (Amateur).
Saturday, May 17, 2025 is designed for emerging players with little to no tournament experience and those with a skill level below 3.5. Depending on registrations, age appropriate pools will be created. It will be random Round Robin play of 3-6 matches that will determine partners for double elimination play that will follow. The goal of Saturday's events is for players to get as much playing time as possible in a fun yet slightly competitive environment. Sign up as a single and you will get to play with a variety of players during Round Robin matches and you will be assigned the same partner for bracket matches.
Sunday, May 18, 2025 is designed for Mixed Doubles events at a variety of levels. Depending on registrations, age appropriate pools will be created. Play will be 3-6 Round Robin matches followed by bracket play for events with 8 or more teams. Events with less than 8 teams will play every team in the pool and top four teams play for medals. This is a DUPR day and scores will be reported. All players must have a DUPR account linked to Pickleball Brackets to register for Sunday events. Sign up with your partner or as "needing a partner".

How to determine which level to sign up for:
2.0-3.0--These players are new to the pickleball and have a fundamental understanding of the rules and keeping score. Players at this level have a general understanding of where to be on the court, can sustain short rallies with similar ability players, and can dink, serve and drive with medium consistency.
3.0-3.5--These players dink, serve, and drive with more consistency and purpose and understand court positioning with a partner. Players at this level move to the NVZ when the opportunity arises and understand the difference between the soft game and the hard game and begin to think strategically about shot placement and partnering.
Events may be merged or split based on registrations. To ensure quality levels of competition teams may be moved into different age/skill brackets.
