Tournament Description
☀️Welcome to the 2025 St. Louis Summer Sizzle
We’re thrilled to kick off this exciting round-robin event and bring together players both local and from several states for days of fierce competition and summer fun. This is our first time hosting a round-robin format, and we’re eager to showcase the talent, sportsmanship, and passion that makes pickleball such a great sport.
Get ready for an action-packed day on the courts, where every match counts and every point is a chance to shine. The round-robin format ensures that each player will have the opportunity to compete against every other participant, so get ready for a variety of matches that will test your skills and strategy.
So grab your paddles, hit the courts, and let’s make this summer sizzle with pickleball action!

🚨🚨VERY IMPORTANT - The brackets for this event will fill up quickly. We suggest registering as soon as possible. Limits will be placed on certain brackets and may fluctuate. Teams with both partners registered and paid will remain in the bracket as long as space is available. Teams who are not completely registered and paid may be moved to the waitlist. 🚨🚨
👉Brackets are seeded by first by DUPR, then by self-rating if the player does not have a DUPR rating.
👉This tournament will follow USA Pickleball Rules
👉Referees will be on-duty
Dates of Play:
✅Thursday Senior Doubles (50+, 60+, 70+)
✅Friday - Singles (all ages), Senior Mixed Doubles (50+, 60+, 70+)
✅Saturday - Doubles (All ages)
✅Sunday - Mixed Doubles (All ages)
Each bracket will be round robin format with games of 1 to 15, win by 2. Larger brackets may be divided in to pools with a single elimination play-off between the top 2 teams per pool.
The tournament director may change or merge the brackets based on the needs of the tournament. The format may also be modified at the discretion of the tournament director.
The Franklin X-40 is the official ball.
Additional Information
This tournament is part of the 2025 Missouri Pickleball Club (MPC) Tournament Series. These tournaments attract players from all over the United States of America as well as international players. Participants should expect intense competition often not found outside of large, national tours. We welcome you to join in for all of the 2025 events!
