Tournament Description

Join us August 14–16, 2026 for the 2026 Colorado Open – Pikes Peak or Bust, hosted by Peak Pickleball in beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Compete at one of the premier indoor pickleball facilities in the Rocky Mountain region while enjoying spectacular views of Pikes Peak and three days of outstanding competition. Whether you're chasing a medal, your next DUPR milestone, or simply looking for an exceptional tournament experience, Pikes Peak or Bust is designed for players of all skill levels.

This is an Age/Skill tournament, with brackets organized to provide the most competitive experience possible. Age and/or skill groups may be combined based on registration to create balanced brackets.

• Wheelchair Coed Doubles (2.999 & Under)

• Wheelchair Coed Doubles (3.0 & Above)

• Wheelchair Hybrid Coed Doubles (3.5 & Above)

• Wheelchair Coed Singles (3.499 & Under)

• Wheelchair Coed Singles (3.5 & Above)

Tournament Format

Players can expect:

• Round Robin pool play followed by Championship Brackets (Top 4 advance)

• Minimum three guaranteed games per event

• Age and skill-based competition

• Professionally managed tournament operations

• Indoor play on dedicated pickleball courts

• DUPR reporting where applicable

Peak Pickleball is one of Colorado's premier indoor pickleball facilities featuring:

All matches will be played indoors, ensuring consistent playing conditions regardless of weather.

Registration & Fees

• Registration fee increases in stages as the tournament approaches. Register early to receive the best pricing.

• Event Fee: $15 per event

Additional Information

Final brackets, match schedules, and start times will be released after registration closes. Every effort will be made to create competitive age and skill divisions, with groups combined when necessary based on participation.

Refund Policy

Players who need to withdraw from the tournament must notify the Tournament Director by the following deadlines:

• Two (2) weeks or more before the tournament begins: Full refund of registration and event fees, less any non-refundable platform processing fees.

• One (1) week to less than two (2) weeks before the tournament begins: 50% refund of registration and event fees, less any non-refundable platform processing fees.

• Less than one (1) week before the tournament begins: No refunds.

Refund requests must be submitted through Pickleball Brackets or by contacting the Tournament Director prior to the applicable deadline.

No refunds will be issued for player no-shows, schedule conflicts, failure to secure a partner, or injuries and illnesses occurring after the applicable refund deadline.

Peak Pickleball reserves the right to combine age and/or skill divisions, adjust formats, or modify schedules as necessary to provide the best tournament experience. If the tournament is canceled before play begins due to circumstances beyond the control of Peak Pickleball, refund decisions will be made at the discretion of the Tournament Director. Platform processing fees may remain non-refundable.

Parking Fee: No Fee

Free parking is available on-site at Peak Pickleball. The facility is located at 1730 Briargate Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO 80920, within the Chapel Hills Mall property. • Free parking for all players, spectators, volunteers, and vendors • Ample parking is available throughout the mall parking lots surrounding the facility • Accessible parking spaces are available near the main entrance • Please do not leave valuables visible inside your vehicle Tournament check-in will take place inside Peak Pickleball. Players are encouraged to arrive 30–45 minutes before their first scheduled match to allow time for parking, check-in, and warm-up.

Weather

24/7 Indoor Play

The 2026 Colorado Open – Pikes Peak or Bust is held entirely indoors at Peak Pickleball. Weather will not affect court conditions, allowing play to continue rain or shine in a climate-controlled environment.

In the event of severe weather that impacts travel or facility operations, tournament staff will communicate any schedule updates through Pickleball Brackets and the contact information provided during registration.

Health & Safety

The safety of our players, spectators, volunteers, and staff is our highest priority.

• Please warm up properly and stay hydrated throughout the tournament.

• Players who are ill or experiencing symptoms of a contagious illness are encouraged to stay home.

• Report any injuries or medical emergencies immediately to tournament staff.

• Please respect all facility rules, tournament officials, volunteers, and fellow competitors to help ensure a safe and enjoyable event for everyone.

• Peak Pickleball reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is unsafe, disruptive, or unsportsmanlike.
