Format
The tournament format is round robin for events with a small number of teams. Games will be either to 11 or 15
For events with a large number of teams, there will be two or more seeded pools and the top two teams in each pool will advance to a playoff round to determine medal winners. Games will be either to 11 or 15.
CSMG reserves the right to combine age/skill groups to create a playing bracket. If this happens, medals will be awarded to the top three teams in EACH OF the ORIGINAL age/skill groups.
************
Forfeits
In the event a team or player decides to no longer compete while the event is live, all of their matches (played and pending) will be REMOVED from the brackets in their entirety. This is the only way to ensure that all teams stats are fairly calculated. Refunds will NOT be issued to forfeiting players.

Guaranteed spot vs. Waiting List
For a guaranteed spot in the tournament in doubles or mixed doubles, the second partner must register within THREE days of the first partner's registration. If not, the team will automatically be sent to the waiting list.
Are athletes on the waiting list guaranteed a spot? No. Athletes/Teams will be moved into the event provided that: 1. spots are available AND 2. registration is still open when the second partner registers. If the bracket is full the team will remain on the waiting list until a spot opens up. If spots are available but registration is closed at the time the second person registers they must contact the tourney to get them into the event. Register early to guarantee your spot.
Players may sign up on the waiting list at no charge for any closed event. Both partners must be signed up on the waiting list as a team in order to fill an event opening in doubles or mixed doubles..
