Welcome to the 2025 Doc Holliday Shootout Pickleball Tournament — where southern charm meets competitive play. Fortunately, Griffin, Georgia isn’t the O.K. Corral. Instead, we offer you good times, exciting pickleball action, and the southern hospitality of Doc Holliday’s hometown.
The DHS Pickleball Tournament takes place at the beautiful Wyomia Tyus Olympic Park in Spalding County, Georgia — home to a world-class 18-court venue featuring shaded seating areas, open greenspace for personal tents, clean restrooms, and a well-stocked concession stand with a variety of food and beverage options.

Tournament Format
Format of play will be round robin. Medal rounds may follow round robin play depending on bracket size.
As registration proceeds, tournament management reserves the right to combine brackets as needed if brackets do not fill. If brackets are combined, awards will be based on the original division, not the combined one. Brackets can be combined by age OR skill.
Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each bracket.
Food and Beverages
Our concession stand will be open throughout the tournament, offering:
Drinks, snacks, and energy bars
Substantial lunch options available near midday
Complimentary ice refills for players and spectators
Rules and Regulations
The USA Pickleball Official Rulebook will govern play.
All matches are self-monitored (no referees).
Park Policies:
Per Spalding County Parks Ordinance:
Pets must remain on a leash at all times
Pets are not permitted within 50 feet of concession stands or spectator seating areas
These ordinances will be enforced by the Spalding County Sheriff’s Department during the event.
