The FIRST Grand Slam in the 2026 GRAND SLAM SERIES is about to kick off!! Join us at the Picklebarn for the 2026 FROZEN OPEN!! This tournament will be from January 29th-February 1st!
This will be 1 of 4 different Grand Slams that we will be having throughout the year! These 4 grand slams will all lead up to our prestigious 2026 Year End Championships, where prize money and prizes will be up for grabs! Players MUST PODIUM in any of the 4 Grand Slams in order to register for the 2026 Year End Championships!
For players picking which division to play in. We are going to use a "Weighted DUPR" method. We will be taking 70% of the higher rated player's rating, and combining it with 30% of the lower rated players rating. This will give us the rating of that team, If a team exceeds the divisional rating cap by .09, players from that team will be moved up into a different division. This system will ensure competitive play across all levels. If a player does not have a DUPR rating, or a very low "confidence" rating, they will be placed in a division at the tournament directors discretion. The ratings of players will be assessed upon registration, and then assessed continually during the registration process to make sure that teams are in the correct division.
All divisions will be pool play into bracket play, with all teams advancing to the brackets. We will do our best to get teams a MINIMUM OF 4 MATCHES! Most teams will get at least 5 matches in! DRAWS WILL BE CAPPED AT 16 TEAMS per division.
In the interest of maintaining the tournament schedule, the tournament director reserves the right to adjust scoring rules as needed. Adjustments will be consistent across ALL teams within the division.
