Age divisions: 40–49, 50- 59, 60–69, 70-74, 75+
Skill levels: 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5
Adaptive Play: open Skill age 40+

Registration Fee: $50 Non-GVR / GVR & Club Members $40.00
Event Fees: $5
Software Fees: $5 per event with $10 cap
Adaptive play: Combo - Wheelchair, Hybrid, Amputee, Cognitive
Players may register up to 0.5 above their current club rating, DUPR rating or initial self-rating at the time of registration. This community-focused event emphasizes fun, fair play, and great competition for players from GVR, the GVR Pickleball Club, and the greater Southern Arizona pickleball community.
PLAYER REQUIREMENTS
Please make sure you read the notes below as you register. It is the responsibility of each player to read and understand the following information.
Confirmed Registration:
A confirmed registration is defined as follows:
• Players registering for doubles events have five (5) days for their partner to register for the same event before being moved to the Waitlist. Teams may return to the Main Draw once both players are registered and paid, if space allows.
• Players are responsible for finding all partners.
• Agreement to play is between partners.
• Maximum team counts may be adjusted during registration as needed.
• Players can change skill level or age group until registration closes. No changes after that time.
• Players may only play in one division per day.
Schedule:
The tournament schedule will be posted approximately one (1) week before the event begins.
PARTNER REPLACEMENT POLICY
Any registered player who loses a partner after registration has closed; they must replace that partner. This responsibility rests with the players. Please make sure you have spoken with the player and there is an agreement to partner between you both. We would appreciate one email with your partner included to confirm the partnership.
The replacement player must:
• meet the skill/age group that you are scheduled to play in. Players can play down in age and up in skill.
• pay any related fees for tournament/software fees.
We do not transfer fees from one player to another. Please email new partner information to azpickleballchick@gmail.com no later than 4pm the day before you are scheduled to play. Approved partner changes will receive an email confirmation.
A portion of the proceeds support the GVR Pickleball Club and the GVR Foundation MAP Endowment Capital Campaign, and event-related expenses. This community event highlights sportsmanship, fun, and the growing spirit of pickleball in Southern Arizona.
